Is there anything out now I can use for these dates? What is the best rate program? Haven't booked anything since last May and what do I do?

There are probably AAA rates you can get. The best rate plan is something for people who have annual passes. You can get a reservation online, but those rates are not available yet for April. AAA is probably the only thing out right now.
