Code wouldn't work :(

I got a pin code in the mail today. I just called to try to apply it to my trip. She said it came up as not available. The dates are fine. We're going 10/7-10/13. She couldn't tell me why it was saying not available. My guess is there was no more availability under that code for Pop Century for those dates. The dates do include Columbus Day weekend, so maybe it filled up quick.

I was thinking along the same lines. Maybe other Values are available for the same time since you did just receive the code. Also, if possible, sometimes if you change your dates of stay even by a day the rooms somehow are available. I would also call every morniing just in case there are some cancellations.

I can't change the dates because we already booked our airfare. I'd rather not stay at any of the other values. We love Pop. I would upgrade if it was the same price, but I'd rather save money. I'll call again tomorrow.

And then hold out for a general public code sometime soon - fingers crossed.

I would call each morning, I think they do all the updating overnight so any cancellations will be out there in the am. Also, on another thread they were talking that WDW has a hold you can make for 14, now 7 days, without a deposit and that it seems some of these reservaitons end up not being made so the rooms go back into the pool if a deposit is not sent. Good luck!!

OK, I just called back and switched from Pop to All Star Sports and saved $339 with the code. We love Pop, so I'm sad to switch, but money is money!

We stayed there last fall for the free dining. It was the only Value resort left when we booked on the last date and we were very happy. The resort was being refurbished and the main pool reopened a few days into our trip. The rooms were new. I believe the entire resort is finished now. You will have a nice time spending the money or just keeping for something else. That is a large amount especially for a Valure resort. You will have a great time!!

You're welcome. I'm sure you will have a nice time there. I was very surprised. It was really our first stay at one of the values. I really don't think the free dining is that worth it without staying at a value since you have to pay rack rate. The food court was fine as well. This past May we stayed at ASMu with AP discount since that resort had the best rates. Music, as well, was recently redone. The food courts at all values take the DDE card so we receive the 20% off anytime we eat there!
