I have to say this is the first time I've heard of a discount on the Dis and it wasn't available when stated

I'm not sure this is an accurate statement yet. These visa releases are phone only mostly until recently where there's been an opportunity to book online. You may be right but we won't know for sure until 7am when phones open.

Good to know! In the past I was able to book online w/ discounts. Hopefully everyone will post after phone bookings... I will be getting kids to school at that time.

February board is reporting that SPD/room-only is posted on Mousesavers and TA site.

Just Booked SPD on the phone. Although not scientific my early guess is that it was 45% off of dining. We booked 7 nights at CBR, standard view, Jan 28-Feb4. It cost $3,652.

Are you sure...the CSR I spoke definitely did not offer free dining... I'd find it hard to believe they have both Free Dining and an SPD deal out. Did you have a PIN code or personalized offer perhaps?

I didn't ask - I'm out of town and have a meeting to to get to so as soon as he said a standard room at CBR was available I struck! I plan to call back later and ask for more options and other resorts though.

my TA told me it's a STA PLAY DINE discount. No free dining. French Quarter not included.

I'm wishing that, even though I am not a Disney Visa cardholder, I could play with pricing on the deals so I'm ready when its released to the public. Does anyone know if Coronado is included in either of the deals?
