Subscribing and hoping for something good for Oct. 11 - 15. Looks like there will be a lot of us down there then. Does anyone know how busy it typically is that time of year?

Our school's fall break (Troup Co. GA) is only two days next school year (13/14) instead of three. I don't think they've ever done a full week. That'd be nice though!

New to this site/board. My family is going Oct. 10-17th. I am so excited!!!

I hope to get a code, but I know for sure Disney has my email wrong and can't correct it b/c of our flight. Should I just start calling and asking if I have a code?

Ok so we had booked at 40% off for our oct trip but they changed the dates for fall break for our school and its Oct 6-10. 40% off doesnt work now is there anything else currently out there that works?

dont be we cant use it now. It was a PIN postcard mailed to our house. It started Oct. 19 but we are going Oct 2-12.

Planning a trip for Oct.18-26th and wondering what kind of discounts are usually offered during Oct. as the time gets closer? We got the 40% email, but I was wondering if any better offers will come along.... We're staying at Pop, so the 40% off helps, but it's not a huge discount like I was hoping for. I remember something coming out last August maybe for October and I think it was a good deal. Did anyone go during October last year and get a good deal? If so, could you post when you went and the discount you got?

Actually 40 % off a room rate is excellent, it doesn't get better that. Free dining in a value resort is also a good discount. I would love to have 40% off deluxe or moderate resort but I didn't get a code and we go at least once a year, this year twice. The discount that came out in August was
20% off, so your are better off with the 40.

My rates for the dates in Oct. don't fall into the %20 off range, let alone the %40 off range. I finally called this afternoon and spoke with a very nice CM. There were no specials that she shared with me. The best I could do right now was an AAA rate of $84.15 for a value resort. She said it was too early and I agree. In the past codes have come out around August for discount fall packages or room only rates.

I'm still kicking myself for not trying a moderate resort (CSR) when I was offered that for $79 a night in 2004!! I'd really like to try a mod. , but.........oh well we'll still have a happy Disney time where-ever we stay. Secretly with this trip I may consider looking off-site! I KNOW!!

Same thing happened to us. Had free dining bounceback booked, and then whamo, fall break dates changed to the same dates as yours as a matter of fact. I have also recently received a 40% off discount mailer thingy as well. I still have not rescheduled my dates. It is just tearing me up to do it, ya know?

We had planned to stay in FW, but things aren't panning out. So we are thinking of value and ddp. A % anywhere would push us for sure into even a moderate for that rate!
