The rooms available are constantly changing based on last year. Categories came and went for weeks so I'd say keep checking.I wonder if other room categories will be available when it opens to the public. I'm thinking no. I also don't see PSD for my resort at all. I can only get the regular package discount.

I don't remember the discounts being so resort specific. 10% RO for POR , but 25% off CBR?! And a 201 rack rate for POR, and a 171 rack rate for CBR?! I guess I haven't paid much attention to those details. POR obviously is winning the demand category.
My TA just emailed me that my discount off my 4 night stay at POR is 66.60. That's 2 adults & 2 kids in mid-Feb. Not great.![]()
We booked Riverside Royal Room Pool View for 9 nights (2/5 - 2/14) with PS&D, park hoppers, memory maker and travel insurance. It was just under $4400. For my husband and me. My daughter booked pretty much the same except for the memory maker and there are three of them (all adults) for slightly higher. She had to take Garden View. For us the PS&D was worth it as our daughter is turning 40 and we are going to have lots of fun!I booked PS&D at PO Riverside for 6 nights. 2/5 to 2/11. 5 day base tickets. 3 adults 1 child. I included insurance. And I saved $610.90 total.
They were having horrible system issues and it took quite a while for her to get the information to accept the discount. So hopefully you will get better news.Ok we got nothing. In fact my TA said we would have to change rooms and mine would go up. This just doesn't make sense. I have used this discount before. We are 5 staying in a stbadard CBR room. Even upgrading to a preferred we should still save something. I have asked her to call again, maybe she got a bad rep.
Yeah. Not great. Is that for the same room category? I'm thinking it must be because of the Sun-Thurs thing.
I can't get that to work. It's telling me that offer isn't available.
I did call this morning, only waiting for 10 minutes or so. My room category (preferred) wasn't available. I was going to save about $500 if I switched categories, but I checked to see whether I was really saving with the discount or because I changed room categories. The real savings was only $200, but that was garden view, which I didn't want. So...not great this year! In the last couple of years, I've actually been able to upgrade and still save. Not this year!
Yes, I have a preferred room. She said there was a 10% discount for the 2 weekdays and no discount on weekends.
I tried but it won't work for meIt takes me to the offer page but won't let me price it out, it says offer not found. Maybe because I'm Canadian, and it detects I'm on a Canadian computer?
Have a better update! I was so unhappy with this mornings release and just bummed in general.I'm so bummed for you. I feel like we've been exchanging messages for a few weeks and I'm sad for you! Keep checking - I hope it comes through.
That is great. Glad to see it worked out well. Have a great time when you go!Have a better update! I was so unhappy with this mornings release and just bummed in general.
As a joke, I emailed my TA to get all 8 of us in a 2 bedroom villa for $12,000. She started looking and it ends up being $12,684.80!!! We were paying a total of $11,871 for 2 rooms at CBR. So we are going to split the $800 and stay at Saratoga 2 bedroom villa with DDP 8 nights with 7 day PH tickets.
I am pretty excited now!!!!
That's cool - sounds like that will work out well for you guys! I'm actually evaluating the travel agent angle myself due to the poor results of the deals released.Have a better update! I was so unhappy with this mornings release and just bummed in general.

Ugh!Maybe I got a rep that bent the rules, but I didn't have to do this. In fact, I had paid my deposit of about $118 with my regular rewards cc a few months ago and I didn't have to pay anything with my Disney Visa card. I asked and she just said I simply needed to be a card holder.
Ugh!
