code in question was only 30% off for my quote

I called last night and got a quote on a value resort (5 nights). I asked specifically about the code in question and the CRO asked me where I got it. I told him that I got it from a friend online. He said to let him check. He came back and told me that I could use it for my dates.

Anyway the rate he quoted me for a value resort came out to be 30% off - not 40% off. I went with the ZFC code since I got a preferred room and water parks for only $98.02 total more. We have 2A and 2A(teenagers). Water parks alone would have cost me about $200 to add to the other "code".

If you have a ressie w/ that "code" for 40% you might want to do the math.

May 30 - June 4
When I figure it at 40% off the room and include tax for tickets I get a higher price by nearly $10.
If I figure it at 30% off the room and don't include tax for tickets I get the same price I was quoted.
I am assuming I'm doing this right.

We will need more information. When are you going? Which resorts (tax is a tad higher at AS than at POP)? What tickets were quoted? What was your quote price?

There are actually 2 different sets of pins going around. My son (who never goes to WDW, and the couple of times he has he stayed with us) got a postcard mailing this weekend. It looks like a suitcase and says 30% off value resorts for Feb/Mar. Others have gotten a different type of mailing which is 40% off.
