Code if you have a package ??

Just trying to understand all of this, we currently have a "rack-rate" package booked *my parents paid, as they wanted all our meals,tickets,rooms covered*, so this included the DDP. If a code comes out or I would get a code or email pin or something, would I be able to apply that discount towards the package or do you have to pay full price to get the DDP?

I just tried *** for Aug 11 - 18 and it did not work. They told me it was valid only for Jan and Feb...

The code *** gives more than 40% off a deluxe???. I just booked last night at yacht club using that code. Room only was 2,126.28 which is same rate on webside when I used the code *** with dining it was only 2,142.20. Maybe they do reduce the room rate but you basically get the dining and tickets for $16 with the code, That is a good deal.

My DIL used this code for her trip Aug.12 - 18 for 3 rooms and got it no problem. She has never been to WDW on her own before so was not even in the system. Try again. Unless the code starts on the 12th. Try that, maybe you can do 2 ressies.

Again your quote is a few dollars cheaper between tax rates, rounding etc i'm sure that pretty much covers the difference

I really dont but there are a ton of threads about current pins codes and the dates seem to coincide with what everyone is getting. if you check out some of the threads you might find it. If i come accross them again i'll link you back to it.

6 nights 2 a 2c, 1 day tickets (this is the big kicker as I was considering switching resorts when I saw it...i'd have to add 600 to it to get my week long tickets).

Hmm...I just called them back and tried the 12 - 18 and no luck. she said code worked, but didn't change my cost...I am trying for 7 - 10 nights for 2 adults, 1 child at a value resort with tickets and dining plan.

Thank you so much for this thread. I'm fairly new to the disney thing (last time we were there was almost 11 years ago).

Anyway, our original plan was to go Nov. 17th-Nov. 24th (over thanksgiving week), stay at the wilderness lodge, woods view bunk bed, with dining and 7 day park hopper (2 adults, 2 kids). I had already booked just the room.

So I called this morning with the *** code and asked if I exteded the trip by one day at the beginning (checking in on the 16th, since the code dates listed throught the 16th but not the rest of the week) would the code apply to the whole week and they said yes. The only problem was that they didn't have it for the woods view bunk bed, only the courtyard view bunk bed (which is an upgrade). So to get the discount I would have to upgrade, oh shucks, what a shame. Now I'm getting an extra day at disney, with an upgraded room, for about $600 less than I was originally planning for one less day and not such a nice room!! YEAHH!!!!!!! I am probably the happiest woman on the planet right now!! (and that was the first time I've ever used the dancing banana's in a post, how exciting!!)

For anyone who wants the details: We are going from Friday, Nov. 16th through Saturday Nov. 26th 2007 (8 days), getting an 8 day park hopper (no water parks) and the dining pan for 2 adults and 2 children, staying at the Wilderness Lodge, courtyard view bunk bed room for $3662.04. Not bad (or at least I think it isn't bad, like I said I'm new to all of this).

Anyway, thanks again for all the info!! You ladies (and gents) made my day!!
