Hi All,
My sister just yesterday received a 30% off email code:goodvibes . She was really excited because we were hoping to take a trip in December of this year. She hasn't called yet, but we've been checking on the Disney website and it seems like most of the deluxe resorts are booked for the time frame covered by the code (dec 7-13)! There were rooms at SSR, OKW, YC, and BC. Has anyone called and been able to get rooms that weren't available on the website? Does this mean that week is going to be super busy? Anyone stayed at YC or BC--are they nice?
Thanks so much for your input!!

Call anyway and ask. Availability opens up everytime, and my experience has been that sometimes, even though a room might not be available on the website, it might be when you call. Also, room availability does ot necessarily mean that it will be crowded.

Plus, when you call, the standard rooms might be gone, but the discount could mean you'll get a great deal the higher-end rooms.

I haven't stayed at YC or BC, but their location (walking distance / short boat ride to Epcot, BW and DHS) is fantastic.

Try it!

I would call as soon as possible. Sometimes they hold rooms out for codes that is sometimes. But you won't know until you call ;) The Yacht Club is very nice as well as BWI. Another nice place at Christmas time is the WL. Good luck !!

I got a code for that timeframe back in early Spring. Even back then there were no standard rooms available at Wilderness Lodge. We didn't end up booking that week so I didn't check any others. I know Mousefest and Pop Warner will be going on them.

Call.there is limited avail. with each promo code.It does not neccessarily mean packed parks. One thing to be aware of is that the reason Dec 7-13 is so booked, is that the week before which is usually equally popular was a blacked out week for the promo, so people that got the codes booked the next avail week, which is Dec 7-13.

Another reason for limited availability could be that this is one of the weeks included in the bounceback discount, which has been offered since April. We booked the bounceback at the end of April for Dec. 3-10 and at that time the only deluxes available were AKL, BC/YC and SSR.:goodvibes

Early December is definitely no longer a slow time to go.;)

We are going to WDW Dec. 7 - 14, we presently have 2 rooms and I would like to just have a 2 bedroom villa. I have been checking weekly and have been told that it is mostly filled. Not sure why it is so busy. :confused3

We just cancelled our ressies for that week yesterday since we decided to go in February instead. We had a woods view w/bunk beds maybe it's still available.

Pop Warner week has always been first week in December. I just learned yesterday that PW is 2nd week in December which is when we always go! I hope this is the first and only year they do this. They'd better go back to first week. Argh!!!!pirate:

I think that is because Thanksgiving falls on Nov 27 this year.
