Coconut tree souvenir

About seven years ago, I remember purchasing a “sprouted” coconut tree as a souvenir from one of the Polynesian gift shops. It actually outgrew my house and I donated it to a local school where it is doing well. I have returned many times since then and have looked everywhere on property but can’t find them anymore. Does anyone know if WDW still sells them anywhere?

We bought mini palm trees and mini orange trees last December - they had them at both the CR gift shop, and the gift shop in the Land. We gave the palm trees away as gifts, but the orange tree is growing strong!

DH also bought some sprouted bamboo?/palm? in Japan - not all prettily packaged like the Disney ones, just damp in a paper towel. It is growing like crazy!

I'll keep my eyes open for a coconut tree - that would be a cool souvenir of our trip to the Poly!

This is a tradition of ours. Actually, a tradition of mine. My wife thinks I'm crazy. A trip to Epcot wouldn't be complete for me without sending mini palm and orange tree or two back from the Land to the room, but I am still on the hunt for the coconut trees...Thanks for the reply.

There is a shop at Downtown Disney that sells all the mini Trees. I dont remember the name but as you walk from the Rain Forest cafe to the Lego store you pass a few small stands that sell belts and another sells Jewerly.... away from the water on your left the store is there. I bought some trees and lawn articles there. The land also has some trees.
