Okay so I just moved down to Texas from CT and we didn't have cockroaches up there. Well, now I am stuck in my house with a HUGE cockroach(did I mention I am deathly afraid of them?)in my house. And you can't kill cockroaches, I don't know what to do!!!

My biggest fear is vomitting. I'm not going to go into a big rant about it, if you really want to know what it's like to be emetophobic, you look for some posts I wrote about it.

Last week, Shelby informed me as to what a horseshoe crab is... now I'm afraid of them.

Leeches.

Jelly fish.

Lovebugs/big huge misquitoes with long legs that mate on my window screens.

Unlucky, thank goodness we don't get cockroaches in England. I'm not really, really scared of anything, but if I had cockroaches in my house I think I would be!!!!!!!!

yea but its really hard, like even if you cut it's head off it will still live. and its not like i want to get close enough to even TRY to cut its head off.

But my worst fear is ambulances and hospitals. but mostly ambulances, I can't even look at them.

Hit it with something big.

Squish it.

Spray it with hairspray.

Spray it with bug spray.

They're very easy to kill.

being wayyyy up high.
cockroaches.

oh, you can kill cockroaches, the tv lies.
and to kill them, i use windex.

I spray windex on the nasty little demon and watch it suffer.
once the windex practically kills it, i suck it up with the vacuum cleaner.

oh, and if/when you do try to kill it and it doesn't die on your first try....
they run fast so be prepared.

cockroaches have wings, but they can't fly most of the time. only certain ones can fly.

South East.
They fly here!!! They like live in the trees and fly into your hair and thats how they get in the house. That's why I hate going outside, I can't wait till my mom buys a house and we get a fence around the pool(like with a top) so i can go outside and not worry about bugs.

Oh! I cant be dealing with any type of bug. Alive, Dead. Small, Big. Walking fast or slow.. I Just cant do it. Eughh! *Shivers*

OK, there are cockroaches, like I've seen up North, then there are those "things" they call roaches or palmetto bugs in Texas. Two TOTALLY different things.

Get a can of Raid to keep on hand, it will kill it I promise. Then just resign yourself to call in a "bug guy". It's worth it.

Those things always showed up when DH wasn't home, they were feeding off the rotten wood of the ancient back deck on the house we bought. I closed one in the guest room and the neighbor's husband came and killed it for me once.

I Hate, Hate, HATE cockroaches! or any bug as a matter of fact. I'm so afraid of getting them in my home that I always tell my family if were were ever to get them, then we would have to move because I absolutely cannot live with them. I hear that when they move in, its almost impossible to be rid of them. YUCK, YUCK, YUCK!!!!

You have to hurry and kill the one that got in because, I don't want to scare you but what if its a girl and lays cockroach eggs. !!!!!!

That's really gross. If I see a bug in the house I just go and get the central vacuum, and suck it right up with the hard floor extension. I will never smash one with a tissue or anything like that.

I really hate snakes, spiders, mice, rats, all are really gross to me.
