Can I use e-mail to make reservations for Concierge collection, or do I have to call MS. I have read the horror stories about getting through to MS by phone this month and dread calling

Having made a Concierge Collection reservation recently, I don't really think it can be done very easily by email. It is much like the cruise reservations in the sense that they have to check availability, go over site specific provisions with you, and get the specific information and preferences that are required for the particular exchange. In addition, you must pay them the $75 fee immediately and they don't want you to send such secure information as CC#'s by email.
