Coca-Cola Blak

I saw this today and I had to buy a bottle. That was a waste of money. The idea is it's Coke, but has a coffee flavor. The idea sounds better on paper than it does in a bottle. It's super sweet, but only has 45 calories (HF Corn Syrup, and two artifical sweetners.) It's an 8oz bottle, but that's more than enough.

Anyone else tried it? Maybe I'm just weird and it will be a hit?

I LOVED "Kona coke" which was released briefly in 1996. I wonder if this is anything like it? It may only be released in a limited market so I'll have to look for it.

I've heard of it but haven't seen it. Not sure I'd try it, I'm not too adventuresome with my beverages. Cherry Coke is about as crazy as I'll get.

I haven't seen it or heard about it. I doubt I would even try it though.
DH has gotten me hooked on Black Cherry Vanilla Coke. I really like that one!

I was suckered as well.

I was at the grocery store last night and saw a display for Coke Black. So, I picked up a 4-pack of the 8 ounce bottles.

I always enjoy trying out new flavors/varieties of soft drinks.

Well, my 9 year old son asked if he could have one. I told him okay. He nearly spit it out. So, I had to come try it out. Yep, tasted like coffee. And we are not coffee drinkers!! Blech!!

So, that was a waste!!

I haven't tried it, hate coffee, but I absolutly LOVE Coke Black Cherry Vanilla. I think I was the only one you liked Pepsi Blue. Anyone remember that?

I have a bottle of it sitting in front of me that my stepmom just sent over and I'm sitting here debating whether or not I should try a taste. It smells like coffee. It tastes like carbonated cold coffee and coke. I just can't believe it passed taste tests. A couple sips is enough for me.

The only coca cola I'm craving right now is Kosher Coke. It's the one that only gets released at passover and uses SUGAR instead of corn syrup. Tastes totally different!

Yup1 We just heard about it. It's called Passover Coke around here and Chris got 8 bottles at the store. It does taste like old Coke used to.

We also tried Coke Blak and liked it.

I just bought the 4-pack last nite. Haven't tried it yet, though. I have sooo much spring cleaning and getting the house in order that I need something more than regular coffee for that extra jolt. I'll try it later on this afternoon. Right now I'm having my usual black coffee just to get me started.
