Well, we just returned home yesterday from Orlando. It was our first trip to Universal where my DS was just barely tall enough to ride the Big coasters. In 2.5 days, we did the Hulk 21 times and Dueling Dragons 15 times. I am so "coastered out" I cannot believe it!

Which did you like better...Fire or Ice? I like Fire myself. :thumbsup2

Glad you had a great time!

Yep, that's what happens when the kids make the height requirements, it's like "a whole new world."

If he likes coasters that much, take him to Cedar Point and Six Flags Great Adventure. There's nothing like getting off Top Thrill Dragster, looking around, and knowing there's about 10 more great coasters to ride. You've also got Michigan's adventure you can visit if you haven't already. CP will have Maverick opening some time in June. It was supposed to open this weekend, but they need to fix a section of track just after the launch.

I actually preferred Fire as well. My son liked Ice better. Not quite sure why.

Yes, I know Cedar Point is in our future. Times like now I wish I would have had my son when I was younger! The older I get the worse those coasters get too:rotfl2:

Glad your son likes roller coasters! I was scared of them until my DH dragged me on a few. Now I'm a coaster junkie! :) I wish I had the nerve to try them when I was younger. I have a lot of catching up to do.

I have done alot of coasters, wdw, hersheypark, sixflags america, sixflagsgreatadventure, dornypark, kingsdominion, bush gardensWilliamsburg, and my abosolute favorite is Hulk at IOA.You don't get that scary feeling in the pit of your stomach,it's so fast and fun. Can't wait to ride with fotl on our june trip!:yay:

I love coaster but as I get older, they don't like me. I did fire and ice as well as Hulk once each in one day and that was it for me, I did all the other rides but could not go back on when the boys did.

I liked ice better than fire.

You better email me a picture. My grandsons and I are going again late August...decided not to take them out of school again.

I watched a POV of Top Thrill Dragster. OMG that looks intense!
<----May be going to Ohio/Cedar Point in 2008. :goodvibes

Good for you - sounds like fun!!:cool1:

This is why I don't understand when people want to cram both parks in during a one-day stay. Take your time and ride your favorties again and again and again.:)

I hate to just ride one time and then rush to the next one.

My son wouldn't do coasters in 2006, hope he changes his mind when we return in 2008 (he will be 13).
