Has anyone been to coach outlet, is so any good discounts?

Very good discounts can be found there. I had in my hands (and I'm still kicking myself for not buying it) an $800 purse on sale for $260ish. They're going for $500 on eBay.

Coach outlet is AWESOME!!!! If you're near one, go. You won't regret it. Just prepare that on a weekend it can be a madhouse.

Be aware that not all coach outlets are the same, if there is a coach store nearby with say 100 miles or so you will not always get the signature coach merchandise and the prices may be higher than if there is not a store around. We found this out from shopping in different outlets.

I love my Coach outlet. Not only do I find better deals than on Ebay, but I often see a lot of Ebay sellers "stocking up" in the store.

I got a really cute hobo type purse that was reg $550 for $100 they sometimes run 40-50% off the outlet prices! I just happened to be in the one in Destin FL on one of those days!!!

Agreed. We found the Coach outlet in Pigeon Forge, TN, way better than the one in Birch Run, MI. The selection was nicer and the prices were better.

However, they have awesome prices and usually a good selection. I was at one today and the clearance section was 50% off the lowest price. I think most were in the range of $100-$150 down from upwards of $500.

The outlet near us did not have impressive prices at all. We first went to one in San Juan on a cruise and the prices there were much, much better.

I think that they are making bags just for the outlets. I could very possibly be wrong, but if I see a really cute bag I find that it never makes it to the outlet. just my observation. I know Gap makes Gap outlet clothes. kwim

I have been to the outlet in A.C and the one in CA. Both were amazing. I always get a few great deals. I have to stay away for a while as we are trying to be good in spending. Maybe in the spring for a treat.

I went to the one in williamsburg,va last week and they had 50% off the lowest
My mom got a $450 purse for $135 and I got a big wristlet for $40 it was
$158. It just depends on when you go.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE my Coach outlet store!
You do have to pay attention as there are times where the sales are much better prices than other times. Also, in this economy, our closest Coach store is running one day unannounced specials to boost their numbers. I say check it out and see for yourself. You don't have to buy anything, you are allowed to just browse.

Hi,Yes you are RIGHT about that, Coach does make some bags that are just sold at the OUTLETS. But an OUTLET can also have bags that have been shipped over from a COAH store. I learned this from the sales person at the Coach Outlet in Orlando(on Vineland,I think). The bags that had come from Coach stores were HEAVILY discounted and the bags made for the store were priced LESS than you would find at the Coach stores. I have bought both and have been pleased with the quality. I know they stand behind their bags (from the Coach store at least) because my DD had her bag "taken back" by a sales person when we walked into our local Coach store(just to look at what was new) and they noticed some small beads had come off her bag.(it was at least 2 years old) They gave her the FULL credit on the bag and told her go pick out a NEW one!! Boy was she HAPPY!! Joan

I just got a new Coach bag it was retail $439 and I got it for $160!!! It is the most beautiful bag! go in and check it out and I would be surprised if yo didn't find at least one bag that you loved at a good price. My problem is I love tons of them!!!

I get to the Coach outlet in Tilton NH once in a while. I've found some really good bargains there (for Coach that is).

Unfortunately I love ours too - closest one is in Wisconsin Dells. However I have been to the one in Vegas TOO MANY TIMES also.

Normally very good deals depending on when you go.

I see the OP is in Connecticut -- we have a Coach Outlet in Clinton Crossing. Not sure if that is close to you, but might be worth a day trip. There's also outlets a few exits away from Clinton in Westbrook, CT.

I love the store in Freeport, Maine! In fact, I have 2 new bags with wallets that DH, with my help, purchased me for my Birthday two weeks ago! Both bags and one of the wallets were an additional 50% off of the clearance prices!!
