Co-worker says there are cabins with two "regular" beds and not bunk beds?!

I was ready to write off getting a cabin for our trip because of hearing the bunk beds are short and small for adults. But, I was just talking to a co-worker who said that when he went just a couple of years ago, that the back room had two double or queen sized beds. I asked several times "are you sure?!?!" and he says that is how it was. That doesn't sound right according to all the information I see. Anyone have any info on this? Are there some cabins that may have two regular beds in that room? Was this something in the past that has changed, maybe?? Or does he need a random drug test?!?!?

The times we stayed in a cabin it was a double bed and bunks in the bedroom.

I have stayed in the cabins several times and they have a double and 2 short bunks in the bed room I dont think there is enough room for even 2 doubles definitely not room for 2 queens

Same for me, but call you never know they may have put a couple of full in a few..

There are 2 double beds in the cabins but not in the same room. One is in the bedroom with a set of bunk beds and the other is in the living room in the form of a murphy bed. :) We've stayed there twice.

I'm with hushupu. It's been a long time since I stayed in the cabins but I don't think they are simply wide enough to have 2 double beds and maybe a nightstand in the back bedrooms.

Perhaps the handicapped accessible cabins are wider and maybe they have two beds in back to sleep 6 still. Dunno. :confused3

No, the bed situation in the HA cabins is the same as the regular cabins. The extra width basically just gives a little more room between the double and bunks in the bedroom.

Thank you all for the input!! I figured he was wrong. He now admits that he stayed out in the living room and not the bedroom and that he could be wrong. HA!!!

When my daughter did the Disney College Program, I visited with her monthly (because she was missing her , then boyfriend/now husband. I was the substitute, but monthly we stayed at different resorts. We stayed at the cabins one trip and she is 5'4" and slept in the bottom bunk without any difficulty and without complaints. We loved it. Loved it so much that we're taking all the kids and grandkids in the near future and are staying in the cabins- except my daughter and her , now, husband who are staying at WLV. I am actually a bit jealous. Love the cabins but afore WL!
