I work part time at a newspaper and last night I had to go in with only 2 hours of sleep the night before(worked till 3:30 am then had a baby with an ear infection screaming). Well, I was sort of a zombie but was doing what I was supposed to do just not with a lot of enthusiasm. What I do is insert all those ads in your newspaper into a machine that puts them into the paper. There is a guy that drives a forklift around to make sure everyone has what they need. I was doing three different inserts last night and I thought that one of them was finished so I pushed a stack of them back on the pallet so I could sit down for a minute IF the machine stopped for any reason(which is perfectly acceptable to do). Well, the guy moving the pallets around came by and told me I was lazy(mind you I hadn't even got a chance to sit down yet) because I moved the stack back that he had pushed up for me and that he is out there working his a** off while I am just doing nothing. BTW this guy is a full time employee and is making a whole lot more per hour than I am. Well, I got all emotional and was doing the trying not to cry in front of 30 people thing and he kept trying to argue with me. I just told him to leave and drop the subject. Then he kept coming back to apologize(once was plenty-I don't hold a grudge). He got all teary
himself and offered to buy my kids a really expensive toy for Christmas. I barely even know this guy! I found out later he is on meds because he is so manic(not sure if that is rumor or fact). Unfortunately, he just wouldn't drop it and kept coming back. So weird! I finally agreed to let him buy me a six-pack as an apology. It was a strange situation that I hope will never be repeated. I consider it over and done with but am afraid he will continue to bring it up.

Hope the baby's feeling better! If he does bring it up just tell him everythings fine-- yesterday was just a tough day-- no worries! I wouldn't let him buy you anything because then he might really start bugging you.
