Co-op housing question

Hi all, My DD has been offered a co-op internship in industrial engineering. She is a sophomore and will be starting in Jan. 2008. My question is: Does anyone know if co-op interns are ever allowed to stay in the 'disney program' apartments vs northbridge? Just concerned about security issues. would much rather her stay in the 'college campus' atmosphere vs living on her own.

No, sorry. Only students on the College Program can stay in the CP housing.

Northbridge will be FINE. If she can handle college, she can handle Northbridge.

Quite honestly, Northbridge will probably be tamer in comparison to Vista. The average age is a little bit older at Northbridge I'll assume, so there might be a little less rebellion and partying going on. Vista can get a little loud at times.

Also, security issues are anywhere in those kinds of settings. I had a co-worker who had her laptop and everything stolen out of her room in Vista. This sort of thing does NOT happen often, but it does happen anywhere. Security gates don't do all that much.

I don't want to scare you, the college program/professional internship program is safe, but it's like anywhere else in the real world. As long as she has some street smarts, she'll be fine. Same rules of life apply there as they do anywhere else.

I'm feeling better about Northbridge now. She is street smart and has assured me she will always be aware of her surroundings. She actually prefers a tamer atmosphere vs a party atmosphere so I'm sure will be fine on that end.
