It's a shame that it has had to come to this. I am just going to keep the faith and thank God for every day that I am blessed to be given.

I think it will be tough for all the Moms (and Dads) on this board who have children over there to watch tonight. Even if they knew it was coming or maybe if it might be best, it would make me have a pit in my stomach. I think we need to remember them and their families in our thoughts.

I'm so thankful that we got that phone call from Kuwait yesterday and I could here his voice. Don't know when we'll hear from him again.

I guess we all knew it was coming but I so wish it wouldn't. Thank goodness my Marine husband got his Honorable Discharge last year. I pray for all our soldiers over there.

I will never forget when I was watching the evening news in 91 and they broke in to report that the ground war had begun. I was pregnant with our first child, and DH was there. I had flown back from Europe to stay with family. I just started sobbing. Was the scariest moment of my entire life. I was glued to the TV for days. God Bless our troops, and God Bless America.

We have been trying to get in contact with my son all day. I guess everything is shut down at his base. Now the worry really starts. DIL is trying to keep a smile on her face for the girls. Being pregnant makes that even harder for her to do. Please keep them all in your prayers.
