CMs taught how to autograph?

1) There is a class at Disney University for autographs, and a reference book.
2) Only trained CM's are authorized to sign autographs.

The characters are the one and only's and take classes on their penmanship!!!!! Depending on their height, they may have too take quite a few penmanship classes and also voice lessons for those none furry characters!

Yes, you are trained and have to practice.

Its not just characters who receive the training; hospitality staff takes the training so they can sign things for guests as a way to 'make magic' if we find out a guest likes a particular character or upon request.

King Louie doesn't sign, but he does have an autograph. I have a CM friend who is friends with King Louie , and when another friend's kids lost their autograph books at WDW right before they left, my CM friend got a couple of books filled for them, including KL's rare autographs.

The books were actually really neat, because the autographs were all in different colors, and done really well because they weren't in a rush. I don't get autographs, but that kind of made me want to.

This happened to us as well. We ate at AK breakfast and were very surprised not to see the #1 with his autograph.

The birthday card ds just got at Breakfastosaurus last week is signed Donald Duck #1.
