While lying in bed sick today:sick: I watched Gerald McBoing Boing and have to admit I like this show. Phineas and Ferb is also a big fav.

Just curious if others watch cartoons when their kids aren't home and which ones you like. Weird I know-maybe its the cold talking.

I'll admit it. My "baby" will be 18 in a month or so and I watch Sesame Street early on Sunday morning. ;)

I just watched an episode of "Sid the Science Kid". My kids are both at school.

The *only* cartoon I will watch without my DD is Noggin's "Oswald". I just love it. It calms me down and brings me to a happy place. :goodvibes

Okay, I'll admit it. DS's are 10.5 and 6. I have been known to put on Jimmy Neutron, Avatar or Danny Phantom when they are not around.

I don't tend to watch the "real" shows, like Zoey 101 or Hannah Montana when they aren't home since I'm not a fan. But I DVR'd all of the last week of Avatar episodes over the summer. Had to know if Ang saved the world.

It's not on anymore, but back in the day I had a soft spot for Bear in the Big Blue House. I miss Bear.

I have laughed out loud over Spongebob- usually I am in the kitchen just listening- but that Patrick cracks me up every time.

And I love Oswald. Henry is the best cartoon character around. 3 marshmallows no more no less.

I did used to watch Hey Arnold when the kids weren't around because I really like that one.

Gerald McBoing Boing is my fave too - along with Fifi and The Flowertots, The Hoobs, Tweenies, Tikkabilla, Mickey Mouse Clobhouse, Nini's Treehouse etc - I don't have any kids though  and I'm 24 :rotfl:

I don't even have kids.... but here is my shameful tale.

When I worked night shift I would come home from the hospital and want to watch a little TV before bed. I didn't want to watch good morning america or anything like a talk show since i knew I would get interested in it and stay up late. This ended up with me putting on children's programming to have on for 15 minutes before bed. Usually Little Einsteins or Wonder Pets (though,DEAR GOD, Ming-ming just about drove me insane). So I watched kid shows daily, for about 15 minutes, and my hubby rightfully mocked me for it. I knew it had gone on too long when I was catching re-runs and knew too much. Thankfully we got Tivo which put an end to all that!

I use to watch Kim Possible with DD when she was younger. She likes Drake and Josh. Those two boys are funny.. Oh and ofcourse SpongeBob.

I can remember watching cartoons such as Tom and Jerry and the Smurfs as a child. I loved those shows, would never miss them. Now, I just can't get into them, I hate cartoons.:confused3 I know, I'm weird.

The Flintstones, Top Cat & The Jetsons on Boomerang every night!!!!:happytv:

I'm a closet Doodlebop fan. Not technically a cartoon ... I like them so much I purchased their CD the last time I was at WDW, and I don't even have kids. That Get On The Bus song is just plan catchy.

I love Phineas & Furb, Fairly Oddparents (as you can see by my third tag), Kim Possible, Emperor's New School, and Chowder. I also like the live-action Drake & Josh and I, Carly.

I like SpongeBob I've been caught watching it even when the kids aren't around. I also enjoy (even though it's not a cartoon) Hanna Montana. I think I like it because it has 1970's sitcom qualities, you don't see those nowadays on prime time tv, I miss those.

I'll sometimes order Phineas and Ferb from the Disney on-demand menu after DD has gone to bed :thumbsup2 and I like Kim Possible too! :goodvibes

I often find myself watching Spongebob, Tom and Jerry, Scooby Doo, Fairly Oddparents (My favorites are when Chip Skylar is on "Shiny teeth and me!"), Growing up Creepie and many others. I use to watch Blue's Clues and Thomas the Tank Engine when the kids were smaller.
