aw, Cat, those eeyore and tigger ears are great!!

We bought SSR last year and did an immediate add-on to AKV!! Stayed in the DVC 1BR at AKV in September! It was absolutely cool! The 1BR is large -- the bathroom is so large I actually stood in the center and twirled around in the room!

Also, there's this great tile-work in the shower showing the Lion King scene...I'll try to post a pic for those who haven't seen it yet.

Ok, looks like this is the only photo we have of the tile-work...it's hard to see but there was a line of different animals parading toward the left.

Something about this just made me happy to take a shower!

We bought into AKV in December. We're planning on taking my sister's family and my parents in December of 09 to stay in the Grand Villa. I'm a little torn on new or old Villa (because of the pool table and size thing). The locations of the Jambo house Grand Villa's aren't as good as they could be either. I can't wait to see pics from the new ones!!

It's going to take two years of points, but I think it will be worth it!! Expecially after that $10,000+ price 3guysandagal just posted!!

Dh has always enjoyed Disney and tolerated my love/obsession with it. He's been very understanding that most all of our vacations have been Disney related. After our last trip on September, he was actually the one who suggested DVC!!!! I can't even tell you how excited I was!! He wanted the upgraded accomadations, and I knew this was a guarantee that he wouldn't get tired of it one day and want to take a break from Disney. It was perfect!! We both got what we wanted!! Disney vacations for the next 50 years!!

I'm in the middle of a couple of weekends of shows, benefits and other things on top of regular work, so am just dashing in and out, but what huge fun the certificates and cabinet appointments have been! The rabbits in the stew pots had me

Very cool! My DH also isn't into Disney but supports my passion for it and loves to watch our DD at Disney. It's also just a nice and safe place to vacation. And like you, I was surprised when DH suggested we get points at AKV! (See the first page of my Sept trip report in my siggie for the bedroom conversation (I promise it's not dirty, just sort of funny!)

I also highly recommend the Beach Club (we stayed both there and AKV in sept). They are completely different but nothing really beats Stormalong Bay pool and the ability to walk right into Epcot's back entrance! We're staying at BCV again in May, but I hope to try them all sometime!

We are hoping to try the Beach Club for two nights this October. We're staying Sunday through Thursday at AKV in a one bedroom and wanted to switch to something with less points for the weekend. We're not in our 7 month window yet, but we're hoping for a studio at the Beach Club!!
