CMO TOP 10 Announced

This is my understanding as well. But I also thought Karrie and Fairy Godmother said they had not been called either...however, that may have been on Sunday and it appears that calls went out on Monday or Tuesday at the latest. Or maybe I just made that up.

This is NOT a post to pressure anybody...just asking the peons like myself what they remember or anyone in 4th who wishes to share the lack of a phone call.

If I recall correctly, Fairy GMother merely said she hadn't received an e-mail from Brady [yet?] [maybe it was a phone call instead?]... If you read between the lines, I can see how Amy Kate could be a Top-Three Finalist who's being intentionally vague... And, you're right: Karrie's comments could have come before any contact from Disney/CB, so she may still be in the running.

Okay...now this is, me, Karrie talking again. I noticed Tripp is going to be "busy" over the next couple of days and Justin and Meggin are pretty quiet today, too. If you guys were notified (or any Top 3'ers who might be reading this)...we totally understand that you can't post here for a while (even if it's driving you guys crazy) & we'll support you whenever you can come back! Plus...CONGRATULATIONS! Of course, I'm selfishly (sorry!) hoping no one has heard yet because otherwise that means no Disney trip for me next month!

The people I'm more concerned about are Patrick, Meggin and David (Mr. Autopia), who have made what I feel are unequivocal comments about not getting a call:

...I got the email from Brady as well, I think he was just fishing for info. I can say at this point I've heard nothing. If it gets to be wednesday and STILL nothing I'll get concerned. Till then, I've got enough going on to keep me occupied :-D

Well, we had been planning to be at WDW in April, but as I have yet to get a call I can assume THAT won't be happening.

He asked if I were in the top 3. I said I had gotten NO notice. He probably wants to get a jump on other media - I don't mind. But, NO, I have gotten nothing!

hi everyone!! i'm SO SORRY that i haven't been here over the last few days. it has not had anything to do with the cmo contest--rather with my crazy life schedule. i enjoyed reading the ghost stories and cmo speculations--after reading some posts i also have some ideas on the contest, but i won't press the issue, since we've agreed to steer off that topic i'll just say: to the TOP 3--CONGRATULATIONS!!

I suppose one could argue that -- if you read between the lines -- Meggin also may have progressed to the Top Three. To me, her comments seem sort of ominous, though... I'm wondering if Justin's, Trippy's and Amy Kate's "silence" [on the topic] speaks volumes...

Hee! Hee! Okay, thanks for humoring me! Enough speculation [from me] for this morning... (I'd love to hear everyone else's thoughts, though... )

When I was campaigning and handing out buttons on Good Friday I ran into an old friend at California Adventure. Guess who he's endorsing for CMO.

Anyone (Kenny) remember if they made the votes public last year? Or maybe b/c it was on youtube, everyone could see it...

This is very true. Obviously we know of the power of DIS, but we really don't know what kind of forces turned out in support of each candidate from all of the other aspects of their lives . . .
