The pirate has returned from a great visit with friends in Abiline, TX. We saw Horton Hears a Who at a DRIVE-IN theater. How rockin' old school is that? My kids loved it.

Well, I'm off to Traildust Steak House with the family - we're going to go dance, slide down a giant slide and (the best part is)...we're wearing old neckties that they'll cut off and hang on the ceiling (because there are absolutely, positively no ties allowed). Hey Justin! How are you? Aren't you happy (aren't we all) that the final day of voting is today? I imagine you're busy preparing for the Easter service tomorrow. We're having two services and I get the K-3rd graders for worship (yay!) AND a song they'll be singing with the adult choir in the sanctuary. I can't wait to see all the little Easter dresses and suits. They are all soooooo cute! Well, the photo not showing up is a "user error" on MY part - so I posted a link. Were any of you able to see it? Oh, I SO want to stay on here for the rest of the evening, but I have family in town from Minneapolis and they're all waiting for me with their crazy neckties on ...so TTFN!

Well, if the whole truth be known: We definitely have our share of moments. You just happen to be hearing the "best of"...

Mr. DISgeeks has a pretty good sense of humor and has been fairly indulgent towards my DISboards passion; HOWEVER.... I think I may have tested the bounds of his goodwill in the week leading up to the DIScademy Awards. (He picked up a lot of slack with the kids and nearly became a DISboards "widower," while I entered my Disney Dream CMO "Cocoon": watching countless videos, chatting, bonding, laughing and deliberating with my fellow CMO "groupies." Good times! )
