Hello there everyone! Happy Easter weekend to you all.

We're here and will be checking in...but it's a beautiful day here in Yorktown, 70º and sunny. So we're enjoying the outdoors. Two soccer practices, some yard work, and some backyard playground fun. Oh, and what day outdoors for a 2 year old would be complete without blowing bubbles!

Don't worry though...still taking time to vote!

Wow - just checking in - and it's empty! Looks like no one has been here for quite a while.

This week has been busier than most, and I haven't been on here nearly as much as usual. I hate to admit, I was growing a little weary of the contest and was frustrated at certain things, even at myself. But then, after awhile, something happened while away...I realized I missed being here. Not as much the contest, or it's happenings/unhappenings, as the people. I've never been a part of anything online like this before, and so much has happened here. So many people have come together to try and make more of life--to laugh and inspire, to have fun and cheer on, to do all they can to make magic happen.

So I just want to thank everyone for that.

Life is beautiful in my corner of the world today - and that is partly because of Meggin. Amidst everything she has had going on her life (a couple of jobs, auditions, shows, pixie-dusting, etc.) she found time to send me a little package as well. Just incredibly sweet. She is truly a wonderful, beautiful person!

Beautiful day here too! My daughter (10) had a sleepover and they had a wedding ceremony for their Webkinz....crafting galore, paper flowers, invitations, they even made clothes. My heart is so full of nostalgia right now....the circle of life!

Easter weekend, prayers, and some new good people to share all of the ups and downs......

Going out for sidewalk chalk action now..... (change in plans.....now we are going fishing, ok then)

Thanks for the awesome pins! Wow.....I don't know what we did to deserve such wonderful Disney surprises in our mailbox two days in a row! We just LOVE the pins! What a great way to pin trade! Since we've never been to Disney Land (although Eric did as a child when he lived in CA) that pin is super cool to us! The kids really enjoyed looking at it! And the car pin.....we can NEVER trade that one either ..it will forever remind us of you and your CMO video!

Thanks EVERYONE for all the pixie dust you've been spreading...it sure has made it our way. So many nice letters, gifts, PMs, and on top of our good fortune to have "found" all of you!

The pirate has returned from a great visit with friends in Abiline, TX. We saw Horton Hears a Who at a DRIVE-IN theater. How rockin' old school is that? My kids loved it.
