Would someone please explain the difference between the tStorybook 3.0 & the 3.0 Plus to me? What are the added features of the Plus? I have the option to get the Memory Manager 3.0 & the Storybook 3.0, but want to see if I'd rather have the Plus version.

Also, is the Memory Manager worth the money or could I just use the program that came w/ my computer.

Pros & Cons to the whole CM digital stuff? I had a different program that was SOOOO Super easy. I could just click on gray spaces on a layout & it would take me to my photos. I'd click on the photo I wanted & it would drop in place & I could crop it right then. But I don't like the additional materials I can buy. I love that CM has all the Disney stuff, but not sure how easy it will be to use.

TIA for all your help & info:cool1:

I love Memory Manager!!! When you upload your photos it automatically puts them in chronological order (according the the date & time stamp from the camera's jpeg). You can put your images into folders by event, person, trip or however you choose. Also, you can put the same image into more than one folder (ie--if you have 2 kids and a folder for each and you have a favorite photo with them both you can place it in each of their folders KWIM) Ask away if you have specific questions.

I can't help with the storybook questions because I still scrapbook the traditional way. I love the feel of the paper in my hands :)

Windows Live Photo Gallery is free. No 3rd party software for managing photos. You can view, slideshow, edit, organize, tag, sort, face recognition, upload to many sites for sharing & printing & more.

Doesn't take up much room at all & its not proprietry like most 3rd party software. The info is put on the pictures meta-data & plays nicely with all programs & websites.

I've stopped using 3rd party programs for managing. Use what Windows already gives you, just upload to the newest version of Windows Live Photo Gallery 2011. Its part of Windows Live Essentials, but you do not need to download or install all the other parts of Windows Live Essentials. And you do not even need to use the Live website side of WLPG.

You can also use it for sorting, tagging & finding digital scrap supplies.

It also syncs nicely between desktop & laptop using (free) Windows Live Sync. I can do all my work on my desktop, and when I leave the house, my laptop is already up to date with photos & tags. No work done by me keeping laptop up to date.

I have Storybook Creator Plus and have found it easy to use. As far as I know SBC Plus is the the only one currently available for purchase. If you want to try it first for free, you can download StoryBook Creator. You can't move things around but it would give you an idea.

There are tutorials online to help you learn how to use it. I also purchased the Click and Fill Templates. This was an easy way to learn how to make digital pages. You just dropped/dragged your photos, papers, embellishments. They also have predesigned pages. You can use these as is, or delete items. Creative Memories also has a blog with freebies.

I have decided to go w/ the free program for now I'm going to buy the predesigned pages, the click & fill templates, and all the Disney stuff they sell. I just don't have the time to be creative. I'm 15 years behind on my scrapbooks. LOL Thanks for your information. I plan on storing my photos on an online site b/c our computers seem to break frequently & I'm getting a little nervous. Any suggestions on sites that will allow me to store my photos & print 12x12 albulms using the CM products? I want CM quality, but don't want to pay CM prices for my photobooks. Any sites to stay away from. Lastly, I have no idea what a jpeg is & hear people talking about moving jpegs from site to site. TIA again.
