O.K., I just called and made my final ADR change -- I cancelled Jiko and booked Boma. Talking to the CM, she seemed really odd. Made me feel uneasy. Now I have this feeling that I should call and double-check all my ADR's just to make sure that nothing weird happened. Should I?

i agree. it will ease your mind. actually, i am thinking of doing the same. good luck! :earboy2:

I had to change a couple of things around a couple of weeks ago and after I made the changes, I asked the CM if she would go over all of my ADR's while I had her on the phone. It is not a bad idea to call and just double check everything.

Just wanted to make sure that I wasn't going overboard. I will wait until 6:00 or so. Thanks everyone!

I don't think you are going overboard at all. I would rather be over-cautious rather than risk a mistake being made and not find out until it was too late.

I always double-check. Then I triple-check. Then I get them printed out when I check-in.

But they haven't goofed anything up yet.

We always check the important ones, since we've run into problems before.

We like Jiko much better than Boma, though, why the change?

I double-checked and everything is good. Yeah! Feel much better. Thanks everyone for your support. Ever since that time I found out that one of my reservations was made for September and my trip was in November, I have felt the need to check.

As for why Boma and not Jiko, it is all about my kids. They loved Boma last year plus with no dress code, it is more them. I am dying to try Jiko but there are days when my 4 year old just will not cooperate. I would hate for someone that paid for a nice meal at Jiko to be bothered by that. At Boma with the buffet, I am not quite so worried. Seems busy in there anyway so if he decides to act up it won't ruin anyone's night. Plus we can distract him with a trip to the buffet! Zebra domes tend to quiet him down.

That's a great idea, I think I'll do the same when we check in next week. When I was there in May with my DD, I screwed up. We sat in the lounge at the Poly, enjoying a drink and watching the line for Ohana. I said "that will be us tomorrow". Then we went over to the Kona for our ADR. They couldn't find my name on their list, but were able to seat us without a problem.

Got back to the POP that night and realized I had mixed up the two dates for Kona and Ohana. Of course, I wasn't able to get a new ADR for Ohana, so we ended up going to the Concourse the next day instead (the day we did have an ADR for Kona) which we enjoyed very much.

But I still regret I didn't get to try Ohana. The 'old' menu really appealed to me, but the new one does not.

If you felt uneasy about her handling of the changes, I would most definitely call back and recheck.. I cannot tell you how many times I have had to do that. Go with your first instinct......she made you think she was unsure with what she was doing.....absolutely recheck.
