CM for Breakie or Dinner?

We're thinking of doing dinner rather than our usual late breakfast for DS' 8th birthday. We've always been able to see characters more than once in the am which is the whole appeal for us. Dinner fits in better with our plans this trip but lately many threads have remarked on how CM @ dinner was super rushed and characters came through once, or diners finished but were still waiting.

So please, anyone who's done both, please share your thoughts!

We've done both several times. We love breakfast, but don't really care for dinner.
