CM compliment

We ate at Boma last week, and had above and beyond service from our server. When he was telling us what was on the buffet that night, he saw our dismay when there was no nut-crusted salmon being served- our favorite! He went and had the chef make an entire huge serving of it just for us! We expected it to have been put on the buffet and he would have brought some to us, but NO, the entire fish came to our table. We even took the leftovers back to BWV. We would like to let whomever we need to , how wonderful our server was. What's the best way to do this?

Whenever I've had wonderful service, I ask to see the manager either on my way out or the next day. That way, they get immediate feedback, and I know that my compliments are not just stuck in some corporate file somewhere.

It also makes the manager's day; they usually only hear complaints!

We ask to see manager on way out to tell the good/bad/ugly. We don't wait.

I agree because each time my family and I have went there, we thought their servers were the best among all the various table service/buffet restaurants we went to at WDW. In fact a few years ago we made two ADR's for dinner there and on the 2nd one we requested the server we had list time, but it would have meant a much longer wait and we were already well passed our scheduled ADR time. However when he found out a table asked for him he found it was us and came up to say hello.
