The sad thing is this is a trend I'm seeing a lot more recently at WDW. In the parks, that incredible service is fading. Don't get me wrong, there are still thousands of amazing CMs out there, and the CMs at the resorts and on the cruise remain fantastic, but in the parks, I'm finding an unpleasant attitude from some CMs that wasn't there before. For example, a year or so ago, we were at the loading platform for Splash and who I assume was a father and a son (they were both grown adults) were talking as they waited for the next group in front of them to move closer to the boat (they were standing a few number plates back), but they didn't move up to the next number plate when everyone else did. The CM comes over and says "move!" and proceeds to shove the son (and this wasn't a light shove; he stumbled and I'd speculate that had he not been holding on to the rails would've fell). After the father turned around and yelled "Hey!", that CM couldn't have been out of there quicker. And this was early in the day. That's not the fairy godmother service that Disney has advertised for so many years. We and CMs often encourage guest to "see it from the CMs side," and trust me, I do, but when you're paying that much money to be there and you've been sold on this whole "magical service" idea, you expect a certain amount of respect, which snark and shoving are not apart of.
