CM asked WHAT?? I am confused!

When I called on October 27 to make my ADRs, I didnt have my confirmation number so the CM asked for my name and what resort I was staying at and when I said POP CENTURY, she asked "Legendary Years or Classic Years?" Am I mistaken, or isnt one of those (is it legendary or classic? not sure) the portion across the bridge that they have abandoned work on? And why would they even ask that? I have stayed at the POP on numerous trips and that question has never even been posed to me. I know there are ALOT of threads with people speculating on the fate of the unfinished hotels and ALOT of the "a bus driver told me..." rumors on the subject and I hate to start another one, but this piqued my curiosity....Anyone have any input on this or has anyone else been asked this?

Ha! You should have told her "Legendary Years" just to see what she said....no, there is still no word on that side of the lake. The Legenedary Years are still abandoned shells. Rumors abound about them building an all-suite hotel over there...but as far as I know, nothing is constructed yet, and they certainly aren't taking reservations!

Well, this just happened to me on the 27th, but if the same thing has happened to anyone else, I'd love to hear about it. She probably did just mis-speak, but I just thought it was odd that they would ask if I was staying in an area of a hotel that is incomplete and never been available.....Oh well, like I said, I just thought it was odd and was wondering if anyone had any input on it.

Not doubting you...its just I read pretty much the exact same thing not long ago, but I don't remember where. I can't find it. So this doesn't seem to be an uncommon question...I wonder if it was the same CM...

You read it here Doc ... the resort is listed with both sides in the dining reservation system - something that nobody has ever fixed despite being advised of this error several times over the years.

The CM's working Dining Reservations are taught "If it's in the computer, its gospel." and most of them don't reside anywhere near the parks and I'd hazard that a good many haven't stepped foot in the parks they serve since they were 9 years old, if that.

I can confirm that it is still in the system that way and the hope of getting it removed absent intervention from Mickey or Donald ... is well... Goofy.
