Club Villain

We were planning to do the 5:45 in May, but the discount is tempting for the 9pm show instead. Only downside is that would probably mean missing fireworks and Fantasmic. Any chance we can step outside to see the Star Wars fireworks at 10 (guessing based on 9 pm Fantasmic! and 10 pm close) then come back in for the rest of Club Villain?

Also, does anyone know the cancellation policy. I can't find it in any of the online info, and I tend not to trust what CM's tell me over the phone.

It doesn't say anywhere on my reservation
I know it has one though. I can see the cancel link online
I would guess it is like other prepay events, which I think it's 48 hours

There is a 1 day cancellation policy - I thought it would be more. I went to buy tickets yesterday and it said it at the check out. It did say only the person listed can cancel.

We have a reservation for April 2 at 5:45pm. I called yesterday about a discount and was told it was only for the 9pm show. I passed on the discount since that day will be our only chance to see the Starwars fireworks. Can someone confirm that with the earlier reservation we can for certian catch the fireworks? Any suggestions for good viewing locations?

Thanks to the person up thread who suggested Hot Topics for villian t-shirts. I took the girls last weekend and they picked a Malificent, a Cruella, and an Evil Queen all in the same style. They look adorable! (And no nasty sayings on them!). My girls are 22, 14, and 11 are so looking forward to this party!

Not sure if you could leave and come back, but you'd need to ewalk a ways to get a good view of the fireworks. Also, you have pre assigned M&G times, that you get when you check in, and would run the risk of missing your window if you left. I'd plan for the earlier show, or see fireworks another night. Both are amazing....you don't want to miss a second of either one!!

Just wanted to post our experience March 12th.
We had the 4:45 time. We actually showed up a few minutes late DD14 used her FP at TOT but it took longer than expected. It was crazy busy at HS!
Anyway, the CMs rushed us in to catch the opening act. It was just DD and myself. We had a table to ourselves, thank goodness because those are small tables.
I won't give a minute to minute review, just say a few things. The food is good, desserts are good, I don't drink so didn't have any drinks.
The numbers they do are fantastic, boy that guy can sing! Personally I wish there were just a couple more numbers and less DJ but it was fine as is. We were exhausted from heat and park time so we did no dancing but the Congo line to get beads. :goodvibes
All the villains are so into character and fantastic but Cruella and Queen of Hearts are the best interactions/characters to watch in the numbers! The facial expressions while doing their numbers are priceless.
Also be sure to look over at Cruella during DJ time, she loves to bust some moves!!
I brought a villain shirt to wear over my tank top for the party. The villains do notice themselves on your shirts so if you have a favorite and want more interactions wear a villain shirt if you don't want to dress up further.
As for the dancers in the numbers: definitely not Anna and Elsa up there. :bitelip: But if your younger girls are aware of the ways of the pop world, then nothing too startling. But it definitely is a sexier show than typical Disney! Mentioning in case anyone is going with younger girls.
Since we got there late we missed pics in the thrones early, but they do have time during the party. Mentioning incase anyone else runs late.
I thought this was a great experience and so glad I got it for the 99 price.
Enjoy everyone!!!:maleficen

I would not recommend leaving and coming back. There is a good chance you would miss your meet and greet times and some of the numbers that are fantastic.

I was there too.............it is a lot of fun.

It is exactly 2 hours long. And then you are told to "Get Out!" It's great.
You are right.......Cruella and Queen of Hearts are a hoot! Queen of Hearts has the best facial expressions ever!!

Had the worst cast member on the phone, Sharon! I called last night and got a wonderful CM who bent over backwards to find out about the club villain AP discount and she spoke to her manager and he said it will be available for 9:00 PM show on May 14th but the discounts have not been loaded yet... which is what my DIS peeps were reporting on here. I got Sharon today who didn't know what club villain was. She said she had to check her emails. Then she saying check the "AP website." I said no it would not be on there, that you have to take my confirmation number, change it to the AP rate and I get refunded 60.00. She said no, the AP rate is only good for tonight's and tuesdays. She said its not in April and May. I said well, I have May 14th booked. She said they did not extend it. She then said check the "AP website" again. Frustrating! I sent a letter to guest relations on her.

I wonder if there's any chance the 5:45 shows will end up discounted too. That would work so much better for me and I'm not quite on board with the $129 price point.

I hope guest relations calls me back soon about Sharon. I am fired up and ready to give them an earful. Never spoken to a more inept, rude cast member in my life. She ruined my day!

We did the 5:45 show back in January, SW fireworks were at 8:00. We got out of Club Villain at 7:50, hightailed it to Min and Bills which is a great place to view the fireworks and were able to find a place and watch the fireworks :)

Is it just me or do I actually enjoy the Queen as a fact character? I would have loved to see Disney using this version of her outside of Club Villain.

She is a great face character.....and that actress is wonderful!

Regarding the bold, DH is convinced he was lip syncing
I assumed he was singing and didn't pay any attention one way or another
I plan to look closely on my next visit
But does anyone know? Can any confirm he was singing?

We thought they were actually singing. I didn't look closely though. It sure seemed live to us but who knows?
