I know my family would enjoy seeing all the villains, but they'd be more interested in getting pictures with them than anything. I don't think you can do that at this event right? I'm pretty sure none of us would get up & dance so does that mean there's nothing else to do? There's food too right? What's that like?

There are some decent trip reports for this experience from this past Jan / Feb that I read... From everything I've read since seeing it has become available for the weekend we are down there, it is a lot more than dancing. Not sure what if anything they'll change, but in the last iteration you received an invitation with their signatures on it and a time card to meet four villains (Queen of Hearts, Maleficent, Cruella D'Vil and The Evil Queen). I think they still would sign things because you get a decent chunk of time to visit - although some people said the last few seemed to sometimes wrap up fast because the villains also do a floor show. They do a few numbers a lot of people described as Broadway-level song and dance numbers. (Remember I'm writing this from what I've read, not experienced, but I got us tickets for October!) The food is as high-end as it gets in the Disney parks, but it sounds as though you can request a children's list of items. There are villain themed alcoholic beverages and it sounds like the drinks and food flow a-plenty as it is buffet style. I've heard the desserts will make your teeth ring with how sweet they are... As to age appropriateness - I gather that the song and dance numbers are a bit "sultry" but nothing horrible and the characters STAY in character. If you think they are going to wave back or hug your child clinging to them, forget it. They behave the way any good villain would behave :) We can't wait, this was the tipping point between spending our one Disney day at a waterpark or at Hollywood Studios. I also believe if you are there early enough there are great photo opportunities with the villains respective thrones prior to them appearing.

If you search for club villain on the boards you will find a ton of reviews. I also recommend checking out the video linked in this post.
