Club Villain coming to the new Sunset Showcase at DHS

Agree, especially with all the work they put in to it. We all know there are tons of Villains fans that would pay for this. Considering a dessert party is $69 and this is only $30 more with addition of dinner, a show and meet & greets ... I think it's a good value (on Disney scale).

I wonder if the uproar over no SWW has caused a few adjustments to "the plan" and this is just a temporary stop. I hope so, based on info so far this is one of the best extra events they have offered.

My suspicion is that the price point combined with a rather poor description of the event - No specifics on length for instance - hurt the # of reservations and therefore they weren't booking like they wanted. Maybe once word gets out about the event they will do better.

All of the dates have been sold out for months, so I can't believe that's it? I think in the end there were only 6 shows - the exclusivity of that alone should drive up bookings! Also, I'm pretty sure most, if not all, of the Villains Sinister Soirée bookings sold out in 2014. That was the same price pint, included only dessert, lasted only an hour and took time away from MNSSHP!! The whole thing is very odd - especially that they cancelled the March bookings so long ago and have not yet announced what might be coming to replace it?? But I've long since quit trying to understand Disney logic!!

Maybe they realized they could charge even more?

It's been getting good reviews interesting Why they cancelled March.

I had plans to go in March, in fact I had it planned to do this this for my birthday. Since they cancelled March, I almost canceled my trip, but am holding out they will add it back in...

It must have been moderately expensive to set up so such a quick cancellation would imply a pretty spectacular failure on some level.

Unless it's not so much a cancellation as a pause followed by a relaunch of some sort.

You know that is exactly what crossed my mind but I didn't want a voodoo jinx if I said it out loud. I think about the costs of the TiW, AP, F&W special events and this was an incredible bargain.

I'm just glad I am going. I booked it even though I had no trip booked, so now I have booked a 9 day trip around it.

From what I understand something else is moving into that space for summer...but with the incredible success (how quick tickets sold out, reviews of the first night) there is word that this will make an appearance somewhere. Until then, it is always helpful to shoot an email or phone call to guest relations to inquire about it and let them know to bring it back!

that area is called flex theater for a reason. they may be testing something else for or summer . I have a feeling that is what they are currently using this space for. Testing concepts and if they go well then putting them away and bringing them out like doing this during fall for halloween season. just my opinion
