I know over the years the number of 'club threads' (that's what I refer to them as, the ones that number in the hundreds or thousands..I think some are even 10's of thousands..of replies, where a small group generally, stay within one thread) and the IM type threads (usually a thread that asks a question, or says something to one person, and then takes on a life of its own with maybe a half dozen, maybe a dozen folks, will carry on what basically is an ongoing IM session, hundreds of replies in a day). Yikes, is that a run-on sentence, LOL.
There seems to be more and more of them, along with the game threads, somewhat along the same line of thinking.
I visit two club-like threads, the 'Chicago thread' (I live in Chicago) and the 'Breast cancer survivors thread' (my wife is a breast cancer survivor). I try to drop by maybe weekly or so on each of those, catch up a bit, say hello, no real chit-chat from me though, just sort of a passing through type thing.
I was just wondering, any of you guys participate on any of the varied 'club', 'IM-like', or maybe the game ones too. There are so many to choose from.
If you care to, which ones?

and I love it when new people jump into a thread like that. The more the merrier. I was never a serious cliquey person and always welcome new people and viewpoints on threads, whether they are serious threads or goofy ones.

) within the various clubs.

I think I'm one of the hunkered ones.
