The Angels thread started in 2003 and I jumped in February 2005 and I haven't shut up since. They absolutely made me feel welcome. The best part is getting to meet them on various WDW trips.
I definitely get around to other threads, spend too much money with the Exchanges and I used to play games!
I haven't found a not nice place here yet!

Ive been an Angel since, hmmm, late 2003? Early 2004? Im pretty sure I was there before my March 2004 WDW trip.
We are a very welcoming group and usually set ourselves up for ridcule when a new poster joins us. The introduction posts are some of the funniest things I have read.

I have both types that I reply to regularly.

Two yayas from different places (one local to me and one from Boston) decided that they'd meet up at my mall up North. They came into my store and asked if we could take a picture of them. Ironically enough, the employee working with me was also a DISer. They invited us to the yaya thread, and I've been there ever since.

I've joined a lot of the IM games, but the one I stick with is "new game...tell us something about the person before you" It's fun looking for other posts by the person.

For those intimidated, pop in and say hi. We don't bite! Heck, the yayas have been around for far longer than I've posted on the threads-I've been there since 2003 sometime, but we have new people drop in all the time. Just think, you can get ride buddies for your next WDW trip, or half marathon companions, or Pam can send you roadkill candy...

I usually respond a lot to the college threads, especially last summer as were were antisipating DS's Departure. I like the $$, money type threads too.
I visit the restaurant board a lot too, I love those food trip reports, especially while I'm eating my low carb lunch! I'm dreaming about all the yummy desserts I'll eat on our 25 Anniversary trip to Disney
