I am planning on leaving an envelope for mousekeeping everyday. Are we "supposed" to leave an envelope for turn down service? And if so how is it best handled? TIA

We leave $3-5 in the morning, and $2-3 each evening before we go to dinner for the turn-down service.

We've never used envelopes, just left it on the bathroom vanity in the morning and the pillow in the evening.

Housekeeping is not a tipped position. If you choose to tip, your turn down maid is not your daily cleaning maid. I'd leave the money on a pillow or someplace where s/he would know it's for him/her.

1) Housekeeping is not a tipped position.
2) Thus, at Disney, we do not tip maids.
3) After all, they are well paid - they get more than actors and singers.
4) Hard for me to tip someone making up to about $12.50 per hour.
