Okay...I am so new to this! We have been to WDW over 50 times, but now DD is READY, SO READY, to go to US and IOA!:cool1:

So, we are thinking, since we know NOTHING about Universal, we should stay CL to make the transition easier!

I know at WDW when we stay CL, we go to the parks the day we check out, come back to the lounge, get freshened up and grab a snack and then take the ME to the airport.

Here is my question::confused:

Can we do the same at RPR, HRH, or PBR? Can we use the lounge after we check out, after we play in the parks, before we leave?

This will really make me know whether to go with GV or CL! THANKS!:thumbsup2

yes you can.

when i stay club level and have a night flight of 8:30 pm, i check out during the day and still use the club lounge amenities.

Thank you, macraven! The decision is made to go CL! :thumbsup2

Now, can I get opinions which one would be best for an 8 year old turning 9 during our vacation?

Shhhh...it's a surprise birthday trip!:goodvibes

you can trust me.
i'll never blab to your child the secret.............:rolleyes1

i like the rph club level the best.
the size, staff and location of it, and the offerings, impresses me more than the others.

pbh is fine, very fine but not on the same floor that your room may be on.

hrh has a small lounge.
it is only good for me if it isn't packed with people.

only one sitting area for the tv and not many tables and chairs for drinks and food. i prefer to stay in the lounge rather than drag items back to my room to enjoy.

you get many opinions on which club is best.
they all have something great about them, but from my experience i rate it :

rph
pbh
hrh

FWIW - We stayed CL at HRH; the lounge is only accessible from the seventh floor with your room key. We checked out on our last day and hit the parks. We had a late departure and when we returned from the parks, our key would not work in the elevators. I went to concierge and they quickly printed out a blank key so that we could use the lounge. :goodvibes
