Club Level at the Contemporary?

Quick question for ya'll, and if this has already been answered, please feel free to send me in the right direction!

Is it worth staying club level MK view at the contemporary or if I choose a MK view room NOT club level would I only be missing out on food? In that case, if we had full meals planned every day (plus a dessert party or two thrown in) would I even miss Club Level?

This is for our late honeymoon, I want it to be luxurious and relaxing, but I don't want to pay an extra 800 dollars for food that we may or may not eat and a view we could have had for less.

We've never stayed CL at the CR, but have stayed CL at the Poly and YC. Given what you say about dining, my personal opinion would be to save the $800. If you can get a MK view without staying CL, I would go that route (request a high floor when you make the reservation). There is not enough food and drinks to make up the $800 difference. CL is nice, but I think that $800 would pay for all your meals, and then some.

This! If you are having at least two sit down meals a day,especially if you are eating any buffets,that is a lot of food. There is no way you are going to eat 800 dollars worth of extra food.

We will stay club level if we have one or less TS a day. Anything more and we aren't using the club enough to justify the added cost.

That's what I was thinking - because really the Club lounge is *the* biggest perk, right?

We have stayed CL at CR and it was beyond amazing. Our view was so great. We did not eat a lot of the food in the lounge but we did get breakfast stuff each morning and the snack stuff in the afternoon. Plus having access to the drinks all the time was so nice (pop, juice, milk, water). We had a discount so it was worth it to us. For $800 though I think I would go to a super special meal or an extra dessert party and I LOVE CR CL!!
