I have never had to buy my own tickets to disneyland until now. With reservations to 33 do you get complimentary tickets. I've also never paid for my meals there so is there anymore you are paying besides the price of your food. I got the menu but I've always been treated sooo I dunno.

Depending on how you are obtaining your Club 33 reservation, there can be different answers to your question. Typically upon securing a reservation you are entitled to a one day parkhopper which you pick up at Guest Relations near the entrance to DCA. They will ask for the name the reservation is under and your ID.

As far as paying for your meal, it does depend on if you are going for lunch or dinner or brunch. But you must pay at least $76 (cost of one day, one park ticket) so no only ordering a drink and app or else the member will be charged for the difference. Lunch is exactly $76 and includes the cold buffet, entree, and dessert buffet. Brunch on Sunday is a little bit more expensive and dinner has a more traditional pricing structure with apps, entrees, dessert, etc. And obviously alcohol is always extra!

However, your best bet is to get in contact with the person kind enough to secure your reservation as they will let you know if you will be getting a ticket, etc. Sometimes I have heard of arrangements where a person must buy their own ticket into the park, etc.

Have fun! :goodvibes

Yes, you do get a one day park hopper with your reservation at Club 33. I'm assuming that the member is not dining with you and has made a reservation for you. As far as paying, it depends upon how the member set up your reservation. If the member requested that the bill be presented to the table, then you'll be paying for the meal. The Cast Member at the Club will present you with the bill at the end of meal. Of course, you can charge it to a credit card. If the member requested that the bill not be presented, then the member will be charged for the meal with the credit card that the Club has on file for that member.

You'll need to contact the member and find out how the reservation was set up.

Well, if you invite me to accompany you, I'd be happy to help you figure it out. Heck, I'd be willing to pay for your meal if you invited me, lol.

Have a wonderful time, you lucky duck.

If you wind up there I hope you get a sever by the name of Louis, he is absolutely over the top. You will not find any better anywhere and I have eaten at places all over the world.

Hey,
While you are there take some pics and please post them so I can see if there are any changes and relish in our last visit.

werd. Aren't you going to be there same time as me? How many you going with?

I honestly do not remember, I think it will be 6 of us but won't know until late June-July. I use an iPhone for most of my posts so things are not as swift as a pc so hard to check quickly. Hopefully my friend will allow me to go again.

I will take pictures :-) I will be there in mid-May. First (and probably only) time that I will be going.

I'm sorry, what do you mean by (bolded) that?

I haven't been to 33, but I'm guessing what ArchOwl means is that since the bill must be at least $76 per Club 33 rules, you couldn't just go and order a drink and appetizer worth $20 or else the Club 33 member that set up your reservation would be billed the $56 balance ($76-$20) to their credit card on file.

Not all members keep a credit card on file and if not they can easily be sent a bill from Club 33.

As a guest you definitely could order only a drink and/or appetizer, but if the member who made the reservation requested that the bill be presented to the table, the guest will be charged the minimum amount (currently $76 pp plus tax). If the guest decides that he/she wants to make a stink about it to the management of Club 33, only then will 33 and the member discuss the guest's attitude (and I'd be willing to bet the guest would no longer be a guest of said member!).

We were a group of 6 on one visit (5 adults and 1 child) and the mother of the child decided that she really didn't want to eat that evening. After the taking of the order the server spoke to me (the reservation had been made under my name so I guess I was playing "host") and explained that he still needed to charge the minimum for her to our bill. I let him know that we had definitely explained that to the other guest and she was fully prepared to pay for that (after all, she did get a complimentary park hopper ticket that she used all day) and there was no issue whatsoever.

I would so Love to go here for my birthday in June but unfortunately I don't know any members :(

I wonder how many times this type of situation actually arises. I do not understand why anyone would want to stiff the member when the member is so gracious to make the reservation in the first place. It takes all kinds.

Yes, sorry to be unclear. What I meant is that someone will be paying at least $76 pp. Either the member or the person eating at the club. So you can't really skirt around that. Basically think of it like an entrance fee, you are going to pay $76 pp and you can either partake or not, but the $76 stands. :)

I have been treated and had to pay on my own, so sometimes I am even a little unclear on the guidelines. Hopefully this clears things up! :goodvibes

I'm so excited!

It doesn't happen often but it does.

When we were there in March our waiter (Louis - I think you mentioned he was your waiter also) mentioned that earlier that weekend there was a large group of people who went in as guests of a member (who was not with them), looked at the menu, and left.

Now, fortunately for the member all of these people had passes and did not pick up anything from Guest Services so 33 was not out any expense of entrance media and there was no charge to the member - but there are those who go in thinking that the member has taken care of the bill for them and are not prepared at all to pay once the bill is presented. THAT would not be a fun situation.

I did previously mention Louis, I wish everyone had the experience we had with him. I can not praise him enough. You would think people would be prepped about eating there but I guess not. How is the weather in Mexico?
Cold here for this time of year.
