We're going to Disneyland next month and meeting up with some friends while we're down there. They've invited us to join them for lunch at Club 33. What is the lunchtime dress code? I've found the Club 33 website (not official one) and I've seen some things in various places but I'm still not clear whether shorts are allowed at lunch. Also, can my wife wear sandals? I know flip flops aren't permitted but what about sandals? Can kids wear Crocs?

Thanks for any help or suggestions.

This should help.. I've heard from others that they are enforcing this more strictly now than they used to... The flip flops and crocs are out, but I think if your wife has dressy sandals they should be ok. You might want to stash a backpack in the lockers with a different shoes so you aren't stuck in them all day!

Dress Code

For lunch, Guests may come in fashionable casual attire in order to enjoy the Disneyland Resort in comfort. However, no tank tops, cutoffs, swimsuits, bare midriffs, sweatpants, flip flops/sandals or beachwear may be worn. Walking length shorts are acceptable. Jeans are acceptable, provided that they cover undergarments completely and are not extremely faded or torn.

If Guests have been enjoying the day in Disneyland Park, evening casual attire is acceptable for dinner. For gentlemen, collared shirts and slacks are appropriate, and for ladies an informal dress or pants with a blouse are appropriate.

(Update: The club is no longer accepting shorts of any type or style for dinner.)

Appropriate dress for children and young adults should be in keeping with standards set for adults.

In March a few in our party had flip flops and nothing was said to them. We also had a few in jeans, again nothing was said. We did not have anyone in shorts, it just wasn't warm enough.

Does someone with Club 33 access want to be my friend?

That's what I was thinking, too! We'll be there next month and would LOVE to eat at Club 33. From the pictures I've seen, it is fairly similar to Walt's in Disneyland Paris. Anyone can eat there though, and the food was excellent.
