Club 33 ??

DH and I were talking about Club 33 tonight and he was wondering why "33"? I don't remember reading anything on why. Anybody?

well, the two reasons I have heard are that there were 33 orignal investors in DL. The other reason, was simply that they had numbered NO squre buildings and it just happened to be #33

If you ask a cast member while you are there, they will tell you it's because the address of the building is 33 Royal Street.

In a book I read it said it was for how many investors as well. So I wonder which reason is true!

We just had dinner at Club 33 on Friday. Our first trip there.

Regarding the name... the staff said that it was NOT for the original 33 investors. They said it is a common mis-perception.

It is for the address of 33 Royal St. It was necessary in OC for them to get their liquor license. According to the staff it is the only address within DL that actually has mail delivered.
