Club 33 here we come!

A couple days ago, I got a message from someone, asking me if Steven and I would like to experience Club 33 during out next trip to Disneyland this year. It's been a dream of ours to go some day, but we felt like it would never happen. We didn't know one soul out there who had a membership.

Someone saw a post of mine recenly, posting something about it, so they messaged me and offered for us to go when we come to Disneyland in either September or October. We might go in September during the D23 Expo instead. We haven't made up our mind, but that might be our new date.

I can't tell you how excited we are to be able to experience Club 33.

Yes, I almost peed my pants.

OMG, you have no idea how excited I am for you and jealous I am of you. I believe Mike had the honor of going in the past. I am sure that he would gladly share with us again how special his experience was.

Being lucky enough to be able to visit Club 33, it's on my list of Disney dreams that I can only wish would come true. Of course, to go to Club 33, I would have to be able to drag Corey over to DL, which is not going to be an easy task, unless Prop 8 is overturned and we can get married while we are in CA too. Wow, how awesome of a trip would that be?!??!?

It honestly was one of the happiest days of my life when I actually got to put my finger on that buzzer, gave my name, and was actually let in the door! I almost cried!

Ok maybe I did just a little when the elevator came down to get us!

Oh wow!!! We went to DL last year, but it didn't work out for us to go to Club 33. I am so pleased for you! Enjoy every minute!

That is fantastic!!! I leave tomorrow for my first trip every to DL - it was kind of a last minute thing. I've been to WDW hundreds of times but never to DLR. Earlier today I was looking at a site devoted to Club 33, I know I'll never get to go but I can dream. Have a great time!

We have been to Club 33 twice! I have even been in the kitchen I have my Club 33 ears sitting right next to me, and I have the "pen" from the first visit in the same place as my highend and collectible pens. I don't want to say much, you need to experience it for yourself. But feel free to ask any questions you have. I know there are a few of us on this board that have been guests there.

Do you know what meal you will be going for? We have done brunch and lunch. You will get free tickets into the park that day to compensate for paying for your meal. I'll see if I can get around to uploading some pictures to photobucket to share.

I think we've decided that we're going to definitely go during the D23 Expo which is in September, right after the Haunted Mansions 40th anniversary celebration. We plan on doing dinner, since I was told that it's a more special experience then lunch, although both are wonderful. I know I'll be snapping photo's like crazy and can't wait to experience sitting on the balcony, watching everyone below.

We've already told ourselves that with the Expo and now Club 33 included in our trip, our spending is going to double! I've already told myself that we'll have to buy a bunch of Merchandise from Club 33 since we'll never know if this is our first and last chance to go. I'm sure we'll stock up on 33 Ears and pins for sure.

Funny thing, the phrase, "I think I peed a little" somehow became a catchphrase of mine a few years ago during a trip with friends to NYC. Somehow it stuck. I've never PHYSICALLY peed my pants over something really exciting.

Yet. I am getting old.

I figured that you might be. I did once tinkle my pants a little when I was younger (16) and my brothers pinned me to the ground and tickled me. It was their form of pure torture.

Luckily for me, there isn't any physical proof.

My brothers are much older then me. I'm 43. They're 53, 58 and a sis that's 61. They're also very big, hulk type men who work out a lot. They towered over me. They received a lot of joy torturing me growing up.

Hell, they still do.
