Clowning Around on the Boardwalk! A Wigdout Trip report

Wow! What a fun night. You two have lots of energy to do two parks after dinner!! :worship: All those walk-ons at MK sound cool. Although I might have been creeped out being the only or one of a few people waiting for HM. Riding Cindy's horse... that's pretty special! :)

Can't believe your next trip is coming up so soon!! :yay:

C says Creepy, I saw wonderfully fantastic is the idea of HM all to myself!!! Just me and my Dunebuggy riding through the haunted halls of Gracey manor...hmmmmm taking myself to a happy place right now!!!

OH PHILHARMAGIC...what a great show! I think I can smell the apple pie right now LOL!! Probably the best 3D show on property and I adore it!!!

I want to know how you can score so high on Buzz...wow I haven't ridden Buzz in awhile, I'll have to make sure that goes on my to do list for the fall!

Wonderful update! You guys really were night owls that night!! FUN FUN!!!!

Can't wait for another great update!

Looks like a fun night! I'm not sure I could've made it to two parks after that dinner!
You got to ride Cindy's horse-yay! I hope to snag that for Ellie one of these days.

TWO parks after dinner! Wow! You two are touring pros.

Look at you on Cinderella's horse. Very cute.

Shocker looks like he is disappearing on Space Mountain.

That steak from Shula's looks amazing! :lovestruc Kudos for having the energy to go to DHS *and* MK after a meal like that! :thumbsup2

I love the new Space Mountain photos.
And you got to ride Cinderella's horse.
The photo of the castle is so beautiful.
Can't wait to read about your Boardwalk morning.

The bed is PURE heaven!!!!! :cloud9: Seriously the best beds ever and the best sleep ever! The chain is Starwood and if you go on their website you can purchase the beds for $$$$, but they are manufactured by Simmons Beautyrest. We talked about it so much that in February my parents gave us a birthdays/anniversary/mother's day/father's day/christmas gift: a Simmon's Beautyrest mattress (not THE Starwood Heavenly Bed, but just as good to us!) :)

I loved the bed too, but I thought maybe it felt better because I'd spent 27 hours in the car prior to getting there!

Two very nice updates :thumbsup2

The sandwich from Starring Rolls Cafe look very good , I had heard they had pretty good sandwiches there and your pic's & opinion confirm it ! We may need to try some out on our September trip as we don't really care for any of the Studio's CS .

Great pictures of the Dolphin ! Shula's food looks soo yummy and the steak wow , huge !

Looks like you two were able to cover a lot of ground in the evening and how pixiedust: magical that u got to ride Cinderella's horse !

Oh dear I'm two updates behind.

The Dolphin looks lovely but like you said not Disney. Your food looks fabulous. I love a good steak but there's no way I could eat such a big one. I'm glad Marc didn't overdo it. If he had you wouldn't have enjoyed you night in the parks.

Wow you got a lot of rides in! I need to show Danielle the pictures of Cindy's horse so she'll know what to look for next time.

I had fallen behind, but now I'm caught up! :thumbsup2 Looks like a fun day/evening at DHS and gotta love those EMHs at MK in the evening!

Dinner at Shula's looks yummy. So, I now know that Shocker did NOT choose the 48oz. steak---Oh well, the 24 oz. looks plently HUGE !

So, I just want to know, "Why were you excited?" Was it because it was late, or is there something else you need to tell us? :)

Hey, just my two cents on The Dolphin -- since we did stay there one night in December, you know it is a nice business class hotel, it isn't a resort -- not with all the amenities, but the rooms are quite nice, and the bed was fantastic. Equal to the sleep I had at the AKL in Feb, very very comfortable, that is their "signature Heavenly bed" -- I can't remember the chain that operates The Dolphin. Anyhow, for what it is worth, I am with WigD, if there was a conference there that I had to go to, you KNOW I would be there... and I'd sleep on rocks! But at least there was Starbucks coffee ;)

I can tell you are on TR overdrive, WigD!!! Your next trip and cruise is coming up!!! Can't wait for you to enjoy it! Looking forward to the rest of your spring break trip and hearing about the summer kickoff trip planning!!!
:goodvibes
On second thought, I would like to try out one of those beds at the Dolphin sometime!
Well, some the planning...
Bought three new swimsuits.
Just need a couple of items to restock the owners locker.
Those purchases have been made.
Dinner outfits have been bought.
I'm thinking capris for the parks.
Did an order from Disney shopping for Baylor an order from Old Navy for Marc and Baylor.
Two new pairs of teva mushies for me.
Marc bought a pair of those 5 fingers.
Baylor has new flip flops one pair suitable for dinner on the cruise.
So I think we are set
Well except Baylor would like me to find him a design for "British Invasion"
have you seen anything on the threads?

I know you're working on another update, so I'll just comment quick.

That steak - OH MY! That looked good! Swan/Dolphin are really beautiful hotels. It's a deluxe that is not "Disney" for sure. We loved it. The big drawbacks - no DDP and no ME. Maybe someday when we drive and don't do DDP we'd stay there!

Can't wait to hear more!!
That steak was awesome!
It would have to be a conference or perhaps an add on weekend that we don't want to use points for especially with the teacher discounts. I guess the drawback for us would be no ME.

And thank you again! I love my goodies.... my keychain and window cling especially and the dollars make my kiddos happy... can't wait to spend them soon!

Shulas looks yummy....and that sandwich is from Starring rolls... I did not know they had food.

Glad I now understand your July trip stays...

I was telling Doug about your hopes for the Villa on the 4th... BLT is his dream resort, so even he thought that sounded awesome!
How is the keychain holding up? I'm planning on getting one for myself when we go back.
Shula's was so good!
Perfect for a date night!
That sandwich, yum!
I wish I had one right now...
I so wish BLT had come through with a 1br for us.

I am going to get that sandwich is under 2 weeks :) Those steaks looked yummy!! Happy Mother's Day
I'll be having that sandwich a week later!
Hope you had a great Mother's Day too Mary!

What a fun late night!!! I can't believe you hit two parks after dinner!

Why does Shocker look like part of him is disappearing into hyperspace??? :lmao::rotfl::rotfl2:
We didn't spend much time at DHS, just a quick ride then off to MK....
I think Shocker was headed to infinity and beyond!

Cinderella's horse!!
Shula's looks delicious! DH Ramon would like that football with the menu - Go Dolphins!

We love the Dolphin and Swan; we've stayed twice at the Dolphin and once at the Swan in the last couple of years, for (DD2) Nerea's first few trips starting at 5 months old. You're right that it's not "Disney" but I loved the convenience of walking to DHS or rolling the stroller right onto the ferry without having to fold it and wake a sleeping baby ;) and the private entrance to Epcot can't be beat.
And, you do get to enjoy EMH's, also. I would stay there again but the main reason we haven't is because of no DDP. They do have good discounts for teachers, nurses, law enforcement, and FL residents.

The bed is PURE heaven!!!!! Seriously the best beds ever and the best sleep ever!

Hope your waitlist for BC comes through!! We've only stayed there one night but we'd love to go back sometime!

Glad you had a relaxing Mother's Day!
That's it!
Cinderella's Horse!
I was so excited...
When we shop for our next mattress I will just have to check out that Simmon's Starwood Heavenly Bed....
Not that we will get one, but would love to know how it feels!
It would be nice to get the waitlist but if it doesn't come through OKW will be fine. The 1br units are nice and BIG!

AWESOME job on Buzz Lightgear btw. I've only gotten 999,999 once because the ride stopped. :D
It was broken....:rotfl2:
Wow! What a fun night. You two have lots of energy to do two parks after dinner!! All those walk-ons at MK sound cool. Although I might have been creeped out being the only or one of a few people waiting for HM. Riding Cindy's horse... that's pretty special! :)

Can't believe your next trip is coming up so soon!!
It actually pretty cool being there without a crowd at HM!
I'm so glad that I didn't have to push any little princesses out of the way to grab that special horse!
Trip is getting very close!

Wonderful update! You guys really were night owls that night!! FUN FUN!!!!

Can't wait for another great update!
It really was a fun night! HM was awesome, Buzz was broke, Philharmagic great seats, Cindy's horse, a first for me!
Weeeeeeee!

Looks like a fun night! I'm not sure I could've made it to two parks after that dinner!
You got to ride Cindy's horse-yay! I hope to snag that for Ellie one of these days.
We had fastpasses for RNR so we just rode it and went to MK, with fastpasses for all the crowded rides we just breezed through...
Fantasyland was empty so Cindy's horse was a cinch!

TWO parks after dinner! Wow! You two are touring pros.

Look at you on Cinderella's horse. Very cute.

Shocker looks like he is disappearing on Space Mountain.
We had a mission, and as you can tell, Shocker was blasting off on his!:lmao:
I was lucky that the few others on the carousel didn't seem to have a clue about the special horse.
I might have been in trouble for pushing and running...
:rolleyes1
That steak from Shula's looks amazing! :lovestruc Kudos for having the energy to go to DHS *and* MK after a meal like that! :thumbsup2
We had an early dinner and it was a beautiful evening.
We had to do something!
So we went until we were tired then we headed back and went to bed!

I love the new Space Mountain photos.
And you got to ride Cinderella's horse.
The photo of the castle is so beautiful.
Can't wait to read about your Boardwalk morning.
I thought that was a great castle pic too!
If the arm holds up there just could be another update tonight!
Cinderella's horse was such a bonus for me!

Thank you mam!
I loved the bed too, but I thought maybe it felt better because I'd spent 27 hours in the car prior to getting there!
I'm sure that car ride did have something to do with it! What a blissful sleep that must have been....
Two very nice updates :thumbsup2

How about the double post too?:rotfl:
In my opinion, that sandwich beats anything they have at the CS at DHS.
OR
another option.
If you like salad...
Brown Derby has a cobb salad for two.
I think it's around $15.
Just go in and split that.
YUM!
We have managed to walk up and do that several times but if you think you want to do that you might want to make a ressie.
Just sayin.
A lunch at Brown Derby doesn't have to be expensive.

We did have some major magic that night!

Oh dear I'm two updates behind.

If you take a look at the picture you will notice that the carousel horse has a gold ribbon on it's tail.
It's Cinderella's horse!
The Shula's steak was the best I've ever had, coming from Kansas that says a lot!
We produce so much beef around here!
It was a great evening all around...
:goodvibes

Hi! :wave2: came over from Memom's TR to meet the famous Wig'd & Shocker!

Looks like a fun trip!

It was sooo crowded....

The baby gorilla is adorable.

I'm putting a steak at Shula's on my "must have list" :thumbsup2

You are a sweet couple and I have enjoyed catching up so far.

We share a love of handbags...great shopping pics by the way! ;)

Can't wait for the rest and to hear about the cruise. :goodvibes

Hey, hi there and welcome!
I do know you from MeMom and Jill's report.
So good to have you over here.

Shula's was such a delicious steak, just be sure to go hungry!!
We are a handbag enabling bunch over here, especially if you lean toward Vera Bradley or D&B...;)

So about the trip report, we are leaving soon again, another update is coming up tonight.
It's about to start going really fast, so hang on to your hat!

Oh my!! I better chime in here before you get too far ahead!! :rotfl:
Wow!! Shula's did look super yummy!! I absolutely loved my steak at Le Cellier and of course at Jiko...I guess I will have to check out Shula's next.
I loved your pictures! If any little princess tried to grab Cinderella's horse before you...you could just give her your teacher look!! :rolleyes1
OMG Shocker got those creepy looking shoes? :scared1: I am not too sure about them!! Oh and speaking of toes...:lmao: I got those socks from Japan and I love them!! I have orange with little fish on them!! I think I will wear them to work tomorrow :rotfl:
I bought a new Simmons mattress last year and  it....I have no idea what kind it is....I just tried them all out like Goldilocks and that is the one that fit me best :goodvibes

Tracy

Another update tonight? I'll have to be sure to check in again before I go to bed, or first thing in the morning. I'd hate to miss it! :)

Well, I have tried to post two updates and have lost them both!
I have to do my PT exercises and get ready for bed.
If I have the patience when I get finished maybe I'll try again...
Maybe not. GRRRRRR.

Did an order from Disney shopping for Baylor an order from Old Navy for Marc and Baylor.
Two new pairs of teva mushies for me.
I've never tried these, but they must be comfy if you got two pairs! Have you ever tried Keens? I tried on a pair of the Keens Whisper and they felt very comfy! I'm debating in whether or not to get them! I probably will get them. We are going to go on an RCI cruise in July and I thought they could come in handy!

Marc bought a pair of those 5 fingers.

Are those the shoes with the toes? DS(9) thinks they look cool and wants a pair! Fortunately his feet aren't big enough yet!!! The guy at the store said that they are very popular! I think they are strange!:rotfl:

Baylor has new flip flops one pair suitable for dinner on the cruise.
So I think we are set
Well except Baylor would like me to find him a design for "British Invasion"

How is the keychain holding up? I'm planning on getting one for myself when we go back.
Shula's was so good!
Perfect for a date night!
That sandwich, yum!
I wish I had one right now...

Hope you had a nice Mother's Day! How is your arm? When do you get out of school? DS doesn't get out until June 8! Not to long, but not as soon as you!:) When is your trip again? And then you are going back again in July? That's super cool, two trips in a month! I'm jealous! We did decide to go on a cruise in July though....so that will be fun. It's my first non Disney trip in awhile!!!! So it will be different, but we are excited! DS wants to try the flow rider!

Well, I have tried to post two updates and have lost them both!

Maybe not. GRRRRRR.

Grrr, I hate it when that happens! Looking forward to the next update, whenever you get it up.

If I have any free time this week (not sure, my kiddos have their AP test on Friday), I'll try to whip up a British Invasion design for Baylor. :)
