Clowning Around on the Boardwalk! A Wigdout Trip report

I'm going to email you a British Invasion logo in a bit - I had to upsize it quite a bit from their website, so let me know if it's too fuzzy or not big enough. Hmmm.... maybe if you let Baylor sit through all the British Invasion sets, we'll have time to chat uninterrupted... :rolleyes1 :rotfl:

Those baby ducks are sooooo cute!

Ouch! Hope your PT gets better from here on out. :goodvibes

Boardwalk Bakery - um, YUM!! That would be a good place for a DISmeet actually: grab some goodies, sit on the boardwalk, chat awhile.

Those ducklings - too cute!!

I have not even checked to see how far behind I am on this report as I was gone to Disney for a week & got back Friday. Anita I thought about you every time we went through the "secret entrance" (and we did that quite often).

We loved Beach Club & miss it already!! I loved the pool & spent time there every afternoon. We got an upgrade to a water view. Room 2545.

Do not like the fact the the buses always went to Yacht Club first & sometimes Swan & Dolphin (coming back from DTD) & that night with the bus driver was a story in itself but much too long to tell here but we loved everything else about the BC. Hope to stay there again!!

Now off to try & catch up....

WigD sorry to hear about your arm, feel better with it soon.

Great update - too many pastries in the case!

Hope you survived the bad weather unharmed.

Those deserts are making me real hungry. I couldn't pick just one. Those ducklings are just too cute. Don't think I would want to share but they are cute to look at.

I'm so sorry about the PT, no fun!

I've had that sandwich at Starring Rolls. YUM is right! Funny thing is Roaring Forks had the same sandwhich, not nearly as good.

:thumbsup2 for Cindy's horse, that is some serious power touring, although I bet it felt good to walk off that steak. Which looked outstanding. I've been to the one in Indianapolis and it was quite good.

The Boardwalk Bakery looks really good, it's on my list for the next trip!

Good Morning Anita!! How is the arm feeling this morning?? So do you have another PT appointment this week??

Week is half over!!! Enjoy the rest of it!

"What is my pleasure??"" One of each please :rotfl2:!!

I love the ducklings - how could you resist!!

Now on to derail your TR - which VB do you have on while savoring Cindy's horse? Is that the messanger bag? I am torn between that or the large tote? Maybe both is the answer :rotfl:!!

Hope your arm is on the mend and PT treats you better. Maybe a message at the GF is what you need!

Just caught up before heading to bed. Great updates. John and I will have to try Shula's.
Shula's would make for a great date night!
Oh my!! I better chime in here before you get too far ahead!! :rotfl:
Wow!! Shula's did look super yummy!! I absolutely loved my steak at Le Cellier and of course at Jiko...I guess I will have to check out Shula's next.
I loved your pictures! If any little princess tried to grab Cinderella's horse before you...you could just give her your teacher look!! :rolleyes1
OMG Shocker got those creepy looking shoes? :scared1: I am not too sure about them!! Oh and speaking of toes...:lmao: I got those socks from Japan and I love them!! I have orange with little fish on them!! I think I will wear them to work tomorrow :rotfl:
I bought a new Simmons mattress last year and  it....I have no idea what kind it is....I just tried them all out like Goldilocks and that is the one that fit me best :goodvibes

Tracy
Yes, you should go to Shula's, it wasn't even hard to get in, do you think it might be the prices?
Probably the fact that it isn't on the DDP....
I didn't even think about throwing that "teacher look" out on the carousel....
Great idea!
So funny that you mention the socks...
They have been getting some press over on Lesley and Diane's Trip Report. They hate them!
I really want to try out a Simmons mattress now!

Another update tonight? I'll have to be sure to check in again before I go to bed, or first thing in the morning. I'd hate to miss it! :)
Now it's my goal to do an update tonight!
Hope you had a nice Mother's Day! How is your arm? When do you get out of school? DS doesn't get out until June 8! Not to long, but not as soon as you!:) When is your trip again? And then you are going back again in July? That's super cool, two trips in a month! I'm jealous! We did decide to go on a cruise in July though....so that will be fun. It's my first non Disney trip in awhile!!!! So it will be different, but we are excited! DS wants to try the flow rider!

The arm is sore but getting stronger everyday, thanks for asking.:cutie:
School is out at 11:30 on May 27th.
I'm ready, can you tell?
We leave May 30.
We go again July 3rd....
Have fun on your cruise! It will be fun!

Grrr, I hate it when that happens! Looking forward to the next update, whenever you get it up.

If I have any free time this week (not sure, my kiddos have their AP test on Friday), I'll try to whip up a British Invasion design for Baylor. :)
I just need to remember to save the update before I try to post!
Wigd, I see your having trouble posting your update.....must be something in the air tonight! And I couldn't get the color right in my post!:confused3
Love the updates!
It was a rough night for me and the DIS....

Sending you lots of Pixie dust for your next PT session!! Hope it goes better this time!!!

You had ducklings with your breakfast...how cute is that!!! They all look so adorable I wish I could take them home with me LOL!!!!

What a view to have for breakfast! I so love the Epcot resort area...so breathtaking!!!

Hmmmmm...so many yummy goodies and yet so little time!!!!

Can't wait to hear about your EPCOT morning!
I was much more prepared for the second physical therapy session.
Those ducklings were just adorable! We had fun feeding them!
I'm quite happy hanging around the Epcot resorts, I just feel like I'm in the thick of things!
Hey there! Sorry your arm is bothering you! Starwood, yes! That is the chain, and it was a great sleep I have to say -- I have stayed at their hotels before. RE your MK night How fun! Reminds me when I ran over there on my own at Christmas, so much fun :goodvibes Looks like you had a nice time just being kids!

Sounds like your trip shopping is underway! I have a little more to do!

And when we stayed at OKW, it was right across from the main area, in the buildings right over the main road. Not far at all, great location, actually! And we were amazed at the 2 bedroom size. it was massive!!!
I remember your shopping excursion to Magic Kingdom and your stay at OKW, that makes me really curious to stay in the 1br at OKW, I'd love to see how big it is! If we don't get our wait list, I'll be perfectly fine!

That's why I didn't go in for PT. I promised to do things on my own.

Probably why I still don't walk right and likely never will.

Jill made complete fun of the way I walk when I first get up in the mornings. I have about a two inch stride going on for the first little bit!

Unhappy about the Disney trips? Disney trips must go on!
Tell her you have a personal trainer down there, anyway. :thumbsup2 He'll help you do whatever you need to do while you are on vacation.
That would be why my shoulder is so darn tight now. (it was bad, I could barely move my arm)
I didn't do the stretches I was supposed to be doing at home.
It hurt to do them
Believe me now, I'm doing them!
Three times a day!
It makes the PT easier.

I have to go for eight weeks and I'm not sure how it's going to work with the Disney trips.
I haven't told her about July yet....:rolleyes1

I don't think my personal trainer in Florida would ever be as mean as she is.
:headache:
How cute are those baby ducklings all lined up begging for breakfast??? I even had to make Charles look at them (he's the only one up with me right now).

The Boardwalk Bakery looks like my kind of place. I would like one of those key lime yummies!
I think a few people might have walked by and given us looks for feeding them. Oh well too bad!
That bakery is a great place to stop for a snack, breakfast, or lunch!

Oh my, how would I ever decide what to choose??? They all look amazing!

Awwww, so adorable! :lovestruc
It was a tough decision but I wasn't ready for sweets right then...
The ducks were such fun!

Sorry about your shoulder! Hope it is feeling better soon. What great breakfast guests you had!! Too cute!!

Ahh the stroll over to Epcot. :cloud9: Can't wait to hear more!!
This shoulder IS going to get better! I just know it!
We had the best breakfast guests!
Isn't that just the best little stroll ever?

Yummy treats and adorable baby ducks brought a smile to my face this morning.:goodvibes

I'm sorry about your shoulder. I hope with each PT session it gets less painful for you.

Were those terrible storms near you at all??
Yes, we've had storms Monday night and tonight!
The therapist told me I did much better last night...
We thought the ducks were cuties!

AWWW all those Yummy Treats from the Bakey YUM YUM YUM only 18 months until i get to try them!!!!
Just keep counting down, it will be here before you know it!
Hope your PT goes better today.

I'll have one of those key lime tarts to go with my coffee please. :goodvibes Love the pictures of your view. It looks so peaceful and relaxing. I can feel the breeze on my face as I'm drinking my coffee and soaking up the peace and quiet. *snore*
That key lime does sound tasty! I'll take one too!
I love your breakfast company :)
The Boardwalk Bakery is one of my favorite places
I wonder how it's determined what's considered a snack credit. Is it a specific dollar amount?
I think a snack credit is usually $3-$4.50. The bakery is a great place to grab a snack!
Mmmmm....the Boardwalk Bakery look so yummy. I really need to research QS dining options for my upcoming trip. I'm thinking it would be great to take a bus to a resort each lunch or dinner and then go back to Riverside via DTD on our trip.

That chair totally freaks me out. I think he would capture me and not let me get up! :lmao:
The Boardwalk would be fun, have you ever been over there in the evening when they have the performers out? It can be a hoot!
I hope you don't have dreams about that strange little chair holding you captive!

I think that chair is creepy! It looks like a man face, but it has a skirt!!!

Breakfast - well I'll have a tiramisu, please and thank you! (what? it's got coffee!) What a great picture of your little duckling friends!!! I'll have to show Sarah - she loves the ducks that hang around the boardwalk! She made friends with one on our last trip!

Hang in there with the PT! Hope today's goes much better! I hate it when they blame you for not coming sooner and you can't get appointments! My dentist's office is like that!
I guess they thought I should have gone somewhere else...
They sure didn't tell me that on the phone!
I think the therapy will get better as time goes on, we'll see!
The ducks were so much fun, I love babies!

I know I was super surprised that it was double post , your really pumping this report out now !

We like salad but is Cobb the one that contains Blue Cheese ? If so we are not Blue Cheese fans at all !

Nice morning BW update :thumbsup2

I'll take one of each of those sweet treats !lol
You might be able to get the salad w/o the blue cheese.
I say try out Boardwalk Bakery sometime!

Bottom row.
The brownies with nuts on them. :thumbsup2

You know, when you were just cruising by this a couple of days ago, it is both torture and pleasure to see it again.

Yum, that brownie does look good!
When you have just come home it's like having a fresh wound.
It heals in time. (sort of)
:sad2:

I'm going to email you a British Invasion logo in a bit - I had to upsize it quite a bit from their website, so let me know if it's too fuzzy or not big enough. Hmmm.... maybe if you let Baylor sit through all the British Invasion sets, we'll have time to chat uninterrupted... :rolleyes1 :rotfl:

Those baby ducks are sooooo cute!
The logo is perfect! Thanks!
Maybe while he's listening we can move over to the side and talk!
Ouch! Hope your PT gets better from here on out. :goodvibes

Boardwalk Bakery - um, YUM!! That would be a good place for a DISmeet actually: grab some goodies, sit on the boardwalk, chat awhile.

Those ducklings - too cute!!
That would be a great place to meet up, especially if it wasn't too hot outside.

Room 2545.

Now off to try & catch up....
So glad you enjoyed Beach Club! Too cool about the water view! Isn't Stormalong the best pool ever?
I have to say the only drawback to the private entrance is walking by the smokers. Did you notice that?
Oh and the buses.
I know what you mean...

WigD sorry to hear about your arm, feel better with it soon.

Great update - too many pastries in the case!
It is going to get better is jut has to!
That case was loaded with yumminess!

Hope you survived the bad weather unharmed.

Those deserts are making me real hungry. I couldn't pick just one. Those ducklings are just too cute. Don't think I would want to share but they are cute to look at.
Since I was getting full sharing wasn't a problem at all!
We are having more weather tonight. Have all kinds of warnings....

Oh yes you should try the bakery, it' really good!
For some reason, I had no idea how awful PT was going to be....:confused3
I wonder why nobody warned me?
I hope the sandwich at Starring Rolls is as good next time.
I'm planning on a repeat!

How was Day Two of PT? Hope you are hanging in there!
Day two was not as bad as day one. So there is hope!
Good Morning Anita!! How is the arm feeling this morning?? So do you have another PT appointment this week??

Week is half over!!! Enjoy the rest of it!
I go three times a week so back to it tomorrow.
My arm is sore but I can tell already that I can do more and it hurts less to do it.
Little things like pulling up my pants....
Today when we were planning I numbered our days left with kids. Tomorrow is 10 1/2!

OH MY GOOOSH! Those little duckies are TOO cute!!
Ducks are cute, baby ducks even cuter!

I have the mailbag in that picture, it' juts a little bigger than the hipster.
This next trip I'm taking the hipster, the mini hipster and the saddle bag in that same print.
I'm going to do some comparison work.....

No strange dreams about the chair man. :rotfl2: Yet..at least.

I have never ever been over to the boardwalk area. I really want to get over there seeing as how I'd love to stay there someday. I need to go scout around.

10 and 1/2 you only have 10 and 1/2 that's not fair...okay let me count now...13 days plus three 1/2 days so that is 14 and 1/2 days....I want to be done in 10 LOL!!!

Pixie dust for your PT tomorrow!!! Glad to hear you are doing your stretches!!! Hmmm...maybe you should send your PT a Mickey Phone call when you are already down in Disney LOL!

OMG I cannot believe you people are out of school BEFORE Memorial day. SIGH. :lmao: I still have a month! Well it will come I know. Getting excited for you anyhow, that helps the time to pass!!! Cannot wait to hear all about the cruise for you! You will love it. :goodvibes

Why, oh WHY did I just look at your bakery update at 7:00 in the morning?! Now I'm just DYING for some of that yummy goodness, not to mention the table and view....:headache:

I guess I'll just have to settle for a bowl of Special K and my local morning news.... blah....:sad2:

Loved the little duckling picture.. that is so precious!!

You might be able to get the salad w/o the blue cheese.
I say try out Boardwalk Bakery sometime!

That's is very true didn't think about ordering it w/o the cheese , thanks for reminding me !

Yes, we will def have to try it out , I have been already telling my DBFF that they should try it on there trip at the end of May !

Little things like pulling up my pants....

I can so relate to that. Those little things we take for granted every day really hit home when we are injured. I really learned to appreciate the handicapped bars in bathroom stalls after my knee surgery. I would have been in a real predicament without them. Just putting on clothes becomes a challenge when your body parts aren't working correctly. It gave me a new awareness of those who have to deal with physical deficits.
