I did just go look at ebay, and they do have Vera fabric remnants for sale. You could have a patchwork looking sling!

Hope surgery is not needed...

seaweed wrapped crackers are called sembe in japanese. salty--soy sauce tasting, not fishy unless you get the kind that are seafood flavored. They also have chili flavored sembe...my favorite and wasabi coated peas...mmmmm....

Jordan we also picked up some dried pea pods for MeMom's class and some candy, I don't remember what kind....
For Harper we brought back some Pocky and strawberry/chocolate suckers...
She loved the Pocky at Christmas.

fyi, the rice candy that comes in the pink box is good. I don't even know what it's called. we justed looked for it in the pink box when we went to the japanese market with my ba-chan (grandma in japanese) when we were small. If we behaved, she'd buy us a box or two..

Thanks, I'm trying to stay positive, but I'm having these Ewar moments.

We all know that Eewar shines in the end.

(And I don't mean the hiney kind of end, CP!!!)

We were feeling kind of ornery when we picked up those seaweed wrapped crackers, but they did seem very Japanese! I bet they are salty and a little fishy at the same time.....

I hope they have fun tasting it all! Besides, Marc was the one behind the groceries! I just helped with the shopping...

I hope they are able to tell me something tomorrow, this not knowing is really getting to me. We have a full summer and I need to be able to plan.

I'll bet you are so excited for Friday to get here, what a fun weekend you are going to have!

I would love to take pictures and post them, but I better not put pictures of my students on here. I will tell you what their comments are, though.

I was glad to find out yesterday that not only do students have Friday off, but teachers, as well. That helps me out a lot for getting ready for Saturday. I'm to the point where there's not much else I can do until closer to time, anyway, and Friday I will go full speed in putting it together. It's not until Saturday evening, because one of the sets of cousins had something to do early in the day, so that really works out well that we have all day to do what needs to be done. I think it will be a lot of fun. Trent said he is coming for sure, but he's not sure about Jamie. She may have work obligations.
