Does anyone know what the monster is? I though it would be another Godzilla, which I used to like a lot when I was younger. I can't wait till January 18.

yeah idk i thought i was some kind of huge robot thingy. haha but it looks reallll good im def gonna see it(:

Maybe it's just like a...force? Heh.

It looks interesting. Plus, it's produced by JJ Abrams who makes the only action-y/sci fi movies I'll watch. =)

I don't wnat to know! I don't want the surprise to be ruined. Tyler and I are going to go see it. We saw the previews when we went to see I am Legend. I am so excited about it!

I have never really been into scary movies but when you go with friends that crack you up every second of the movie its not that bad. But I would never go by myself or with a date.lol I will be the one scared and she wont.

it can't e something huge... unless it's a snake
because they said in a preview "we can die in the subway or we can die up here" thus it can fit in a subway

ooh, it can be like that thing on LOST,

same

i love monster movies.. and this one definitely sparked my interest.. i really like how they made it all from the victims perspective with the handheld camera style.. it adds soo much intensity to it!

The monster is obviously a Tamagotchi pet. Clearly.

...

Lol. No, I have no idea what it's going to be. I saw maybe two commercials and couldn't make out *anything*, but I still really want to see this movie for two reasons.

1) I'm very eager to see what J.J. Abrams can do with a sci-fi movie. Or any of his work, really. I wasn't allowed to watch Lost or Alias or anything else of his and might not even get to see this one, but I sure would love to get an idea of his style.

2) A certain trailer. You'll know which one.

I heard it was a lion ahaha but from what I saw from the trailer I'm thinking some sort of crazy deep sea creature.

yes its a movie.. and the monster is gonna have to be marine or so i believe... in the poster, it looks like it came from the ocean lol.. plus monsters from the sea are really scary looking lol

you can see the ripple tracks coming from the water

might be a fluke but good evidence for your arguement

I'm not gonna go see the movie, but I agree on the water thing.

=(

Oh great, Mom has staunchly refused to let me see this movie, and for no good reason at all. Now I'll be forced to wait at least a week to see the trailer, and then it'll be on a sucky little poor-quality YouTube file. :headache:
