Anyone know if clove oil (in a 1.7 oz bottle) can be put in a carry-on? We will only be taking carry-ons this trip-but have a tooth issue that won't be able to be taken care of until after we come home. Anyone? I ws thinking of just contacting tsa but you guys always have answers-thanks!

Unless it's a banned substance, sure you can take it, just put it in your quart bag.

Just checked the tsa website & it wasn't a "banned substance" I think I should be ok. Plan to have it w/ all my prescripts & liquids. Thanks!

Clove oil has long been used in treating dental issues. The most common of which is related to relieving pain; e.g. tooth aches, sore gums or mouth ulcers. It's often found as an ingredient in mouthwash, toothpaste, and various dental medications.

Yes! It's heavenly if you have a dry socket after getting wisdom teeth pulled. Instant pain relief.:cloud9:

Slightly OT, what does clove oil do? I've never heard of it before.:confused3

Last year I needed a root canal:scared1: and someone told me to warm a tea bag wrapped in whole cloves & it will relieve the pain-then someone told me that you can buy clove oil-usually at like a GNC type store-let me tell you I won't leave my home without it!!!! Better than any other medication I've been prescribed!!! (Not the greatest in taste-but what relief!)
