Clove Oil?

Anyone know if clove oil (in a 1.7 oz bottle) can be put in a carry-on? We will only be taking carry-ons this trip-but have a tooth issue that won't be able to be taken care of until after we come home. Anyone? I ws thinking of just contacting tsa but you guys always have answers-thanks!

Unless it's a banned substance, sure you can take it, just put it in your quart bag.

Just checked the tsa website & it wasn't a "banned substance" I think I should be ok. Plan to have it w/ all my prescripts & liquids. Thanks!

Slightly OT, what does clove oil do? I've never heard of it before.

Clove oil has long been used in treating dental issues. The most common of which is related to relieving pain; e.g. tooth aches, sore gums or mouth ulcers. It's often found as an ingredient in mouthwash, toothpaste, and various dental medications.

Yes! It's heavenly if you have a dry socket after getting wisdom teeth pulled. Instant pain relief.

Slightly OT, what does clove oil do? I've never heard of it before.

Last year I needed a root canal and someone told me to warm a tea bag wrapped in whole cloves & it will relieve the pain-then someone told me that you can buy clove oil-usually at like a GNC type store-let me tell you I won't leave my home without it!!!! Better than any other medication I've been prescribed!!! (Not the greatest in taste-but what relief!)
