OK, here's my question:

If an article of clothing is identical front and back, and the tag is on the side, which side does the tag go on?

From what I can tell from my own clothing, the tags are on the left.

I have no idea, but just to add to the confusion, I will say right side. :teeth:

I'd say the vast majority of mine have been on the left as well.

Dan... hush :p

Dan: I never knew what a trouble maker you could be!!!!! :p

Dan, she called you a Troublemaker! :p :p :p

Tags, side zippers, etc. are always on the left if they aren't in the front or back.

If the article of clothing is the exact same either way, does it matter which side the tag is on??? :D

Most of mine are on the left. I have a few things where the main tag is in the back where it goes, but the one with washing instructions is on the inside. Those are the only ones that are on the right sometimes, but you know which way the clothes go since there's also one in the back.

OK, now I'll tell you why I asked. Last night I took my DD(3) for her very first dance class. DH got her dressed and I rushed home from work so she wouldn't be late. When I walked in and looked at her, I immediately said 'You put her leotard on backwards.' He said, 'How would I know?' I said, 'The tag always goes on the left.' In truth, the front and back are not identical. One is lower that the other. So I took it off her and switched it around. Now, of course I could have checked the bottom, but I was in a hurry and I KNEW I was right. Well, when I got her to the dance school about 3 or 4 other girls had the exact same leotard and every one of them had it on backward (lower part to the front.) So that had me second guessing myself. So when I got to work today I started a poll to see if I was right.

This is what happens when you have too much time on your hands. :)

I would echo the others... on the left side for me.
