Please help... I haven't been to WDW at this time of the year for I don't know how long. I leave on the 17th (Nov) and I have to pack tonight (long, pointless story). Anyways... everything must be packed tonight except for one carry-on. What is the weather like in November? Do you suggest t-shirts w/ sleeves or w/o? shorts/pants? jacket at night? Is it comfortable to wear sandals during the day? Does it rain every day like it does in July/August?
Please help!!!

When I was there in November '99, it was HOT during the day and sweatshirt weather at night.

I'm sure others could give you a better idea though.

We go down for Thanksgiving this year. I'll be flying in my heavier clothes...jeans, sweatshirt, maybe a windbreaker, sneakers and heavy socks. Then I pack my shorts, tee's, bathing suit, and sandals. We're planning on 70's during the day and on the chillier side at night. Jeans at night with a sweatshirt most likely.

As far as rain....we've been in mid-Dec, late Oct and early Nov and we only had one afternoon shower in mid Dec. We bring those cheapy ponchos that you can just toss after wearing. WE find that we like to have them on the 'wet' rides like Kali. I don't like being damp when it's chilly!!

I'd pack a little of everything. I went in November 1996, wore jeans and a flannel shirt over a tank top at MK. There was a heatwave that year. Needless to say, the flannel shirt came off and I almost died of heatstroke (well, it seemed like it anyway). I'd pack long pants, shorts, short-sleeved shirts, long-sleeved shirts and a sweatshirt.

About the rain...I read in one of the guidebooks that it rains an average of 6 days in November. Of course, this year it will probably be the 6 days that I'm down there. :p

I was wondering if I would be safer with capris for Thanksgiving week rather than shorts, you know kind of in between.

My suggestion, plan on wearing layers, so you can shed clothes during the day and add layers for evening. Capris are probably a good idea since they can go either way.

I am also going on the 17th. I have been going to www.accuweather.com They have a 15 day forcast. And as of today which is the 16th. It will be 80 degrees. So I am going to bring shorts & tees. But, will bring a sweater and a pair of jeans just in case.

We prefer November's weather. Beautiful every day (sunny and 80) with maybe 1 cloudy day in the week. Shorts/tees during the day, sweatshirt/jeans at night.

Enjoy!:sunny:

I'm packing all of my capris and a couple of pair of jeans for just in case! Of course I may need to buy a lightweight jacket beforehand though. My two coats are both heavy and big.
