Closing Walmart Stores

Just a heads up for anyone that might not know, if you have a walmart store in your area that is closing everything should be 50% off! The discount comes off the total at the end.




I made a video talking about it a little and walking around one of our local stores:

Anything that is serviced by an outside vendor (like the Hallmark) was probably pulled before the sale started, so that might explain why the shelves seem crazy empty. But honestly, I haven't even checked to see if a Walmart near us is closing. Seems like it would be a good time to pick up some gifts for the year!..................P

Yes certain things can't be discounts like liquor/lotto/cigarettes but there were quit a lot of other things. Our store was 25% off before they started the 50 so a lot went then, but there were tons of food products left and things like headphones.
I even found fit bits! I didn't see much for Disney movies which was my main target, but there was still a good amount of toys, tons of bikes and other things

We have no store closing here. I guess everyone one of them bring enough revenue to them.

They closed the store by me less than 48 hours after the announcement. Nothing was on sale before they shuttered the doors. I just assumed that they moved everything to the Superstore that was 4 miles away.

I love a good sale but the situation hits a little close to home. They closed some stores in my hometown so there has a bunch of shifting of employees. My brother got let go in all the shifting and I know people who got let go from the closures. My cousin is on medicial leave while she battles cancer and has no clue what if any job she'll have to come back to. I just hope they are able to find other jobs but they've done nothing but retail since the graduated high school.
